Convert your homemade water gun to be compatible with the Super Soaker quick charge fill port.

Using this flojet 1/2" quick connect part with a decent 1/2" check valve you can make your homemade compatible with the standard Super Soaker quick charger. I say a decent 1/2" check valve because Amazon sells these mini check valves like the one in the picture whose threads don't get tighter like most other check valves. I just used it since it was all I had handy for the example. I was able to charge the example easily to 100 psi. Below is the part number for the piece compatible with the Super Soaker quick charger.

Great find. I suppose the female version of the same fitting will work for those who want a replacement for broken QFDs?

I saw some comments on the photos. Did you post this elsewhere? I'm always looking to find others interested in water guns.

I posted it on IMGUR because photobucket seems like they aren't great with hosting. I think that in order to get more people interested in waterguns we probably need to have people like Out of Darts make videos on YouTube featuring waterguns and linking to waterwar.net and SSC. I made a test video on youtube just to see if putting tags on my videos would bump them up and it got 1,600 views in 5 days. Maybe I should put a link it to waterwar.net. I feel like video I made is not great either in direction or content but maybe it could help? https://youtu.be/Z-FkVR0DxLU

Nice video. I'm impressed by the number of views in less than a week. I'd recommend linking to WWN as I think we need all the advertising we could get.

Hopefully my schedule will clear out next year and I can make a few homemade water gun videos of my own...
