It's the 2012-2013 student design kit. I get a new version each year for the next four years or more (until I leave uni). I still use pentel & paper for most, but turn to CAD if I want to show others. :goofy:

I decided to follow previous suggestions and jump ship for now, at least until I'm swept up by the 3D printing revolution which is still to come. Paper, pencil, and 2D sketches are where it's going to be for now. (Very inaccurate drawings too.)

Edit: McMaster Carr has CAD drawings of many of their products, nice! They are available in a variety of formats as well as 2D technical drawings. Just go to a product ID and if there's CAD drawings available, there will be a "CAD" link next to "Catalog Page" and "Bookmark" on the pop-out tab.
