Don't just post shot pics; post pics of your APH as well! Give us an idea of how big it is, what its capacity is, etc.

Yours is better than mine I'm sure. My APH is just a pile of parts under my bed

Re: My APH finished... FINALLY!!!
I was actually going to make an APH, but then my CPS 2500 arrived, so I've been exploring modding possibilities for it. I doubt that I'll ever get around to it.

Hey Steel_Boot, if you want to mod a 2500 my suggestion is to make a nozzle laminator out of cocktail stirrers like I did. The boost in range and accuracy is fantastic. Just be sure to open up your valve via the screws, take out your straws, cut the stirrers to the same length, and put them in. Also a light Colossus with 1 or 2 layers of bike tubing could help. I'd also cut the existing CPS chamber down to the length of a Cps 2000 mk.1, because you know it'll work, and then do the colossus.
Re: My APH finished... FINALLY!!!
I should really get around to finishing my APH. The PCs still leak, I'm not sure if the pump works or not, and it lacks a reservoir. I'll get around to it come winter.
Re: My APH finished... FINALLY!!!
I am making an APH in the spring,i am going to try and add a WBL nozzle. It might not be powerful but as long as it is near throwing distance i will be happy.

If you're going to make an WB nozzle, I'd suggest adding a schrader valve to top of the pressure chamber and use a bike pump to pressurize it. Generally homemade water pumps don't pump air unless you're very good at making them. Water is a larger molecule and is easier to seal against. This modification will also allow you to get some extra pressure in and if done correctly will make your APH have more constant performance.
Re: My APH finished... FINALLY!!!
While water is easier to seal against versus the molecules in air, water is not really larger and is definitely lighter than most molecules in air. In fact, water molecules (H2O) are, at best, only slightly physically larger than oxygen (O2) or nitrogen (N2) gas molecules that make up the bulk of air, depending on how you measure actual dimensions. Water just behaves much differently, bonding together much more tightly.Water is a larger molecule and is easier to seal against.

I agree with that. High polarity leads to high cohesion and adhesion, which is especially important for smaller holes.
Re: My APH finished... FINALLY!!!
I am designing a APH with the baloon launcher,if nothing else i can use a bit of water too.It will act as a "silencer",being i will have it on all the time.I will also try to make a decent trigger system. This is only a design,it should turn out well.If it works i will post pictures.

Different behaviors make more sense than size. I should know that for a guy who works with water enough.
