We all know how great the WW HydraPak's shot times are, but the design of the gun limits the nozzle selection greatly. The PC's could easily support nozzles over 20X if the gun was single piece. Since it's not, it can barely support 4X! So my idea is making a massive hommade with the Hydrapak's PC's. It should make a good base defence weapon.
Would this be easy or hard to make, and would a normal CPH be better?

I think a normal CPH or APH would be better than buying a Hydra Pak, taking it apart, and finding some way to get it all together in to one piece/ not pistol sized, more like CPS 2000 sized... I would prefer the APH with riot blast over the 20x of a modded hydra pak.

You don't even need to make a large homemade to get better output. A small homemade can still support up to 30x output in its riot blast. Medium homemades can go up to 50x, and big homemades can sport riot blast nozzles with 65x or more. However, you really don't need that much output...anything over 55x is kind of a waste.

Definately bigger than a CPS 2000. I would say at least 1.5x larger than a cps 2000 if not monster xl.

You have a point there, but I'm not really going for output as much as range. By "supporting 20x" I didn't mean with shot times, because that's obvious enough (the gun can shoot 50x for 3 seconds), I meant with range. It gets horrible range on 4x because it's not a single peice gun, the water goes through long lengths of curved tubing before leaving the nozzle. If it was single peice my guess is the range on 4x would at least double, because the water is pressurized very near to the nozzle.
