Cps 1000 issue
Cps 1000 issue
Hi guys, trying to repair a CPS 1000, and it doesn't hold any pressure, the bladder hasn't been k-modded and everything seems ok, if anyone has any suggestions as to how to fix or what image sharing sites for this would be appreciated

Re: Cps 1000 issue
I cannot elaborate because I am on a quick lunch break, but perhaps this thread can help. It suggests putting a rubber band around the valve pin. Below is an example of a valve repaired with a rubber band. Your valve looks different than this one, but it's still a good visual.
Re: Cps 1000 issue
Thanks Tim I'll give that a go, I finally pried it open and the valve pin was a bit weak so I put a few bands it on it and now it seems to be adequate. Although when testing the gun blew up in my face, turns out the sealant has deteriorated and worn away. It could have just been that, as well as the valve. Would epoxy be suitable or would anyone know anything better?

Woah did the valve casing explode? You could try resealing it but if the leak is too severe...

Re: Cps 1000 issue
It did, was quite a surprise but it's not too big, a breach in the seal was to blame. Do you know what would work? I was thinking epoxy but I wanted to get your opinion on this, as you would know far better than myself

Re: Cps 1000 issue
You could try some epoxy that might work. See if you can make a reinforcement plate out of thin plastic sheet that will go on top of the epoxy as well.
