Unfortunately, you can't glue rubber back together. The problem is that rubber stretches and there is no glue that will stretch with the exact same properties as the rubber. The only solution for this is an LRT replacement or CPS chamber replacement. You can swap out your busted bladder with one from a 2500 or Monster X. CPS 4100s and SC 600s may also be compatible, however that's never been tested.

FWIW, the MX, CPS 2000 mk2, and 2500 all use the same bladder. I did a study on this last month. Like many more things, the article probably won't hit Hydrowar 'til the summer, but I thought it was a rather big discovery. The Monster X isn't weaker than the 2500 or 2000 because it has a weaker bladder, it's weaker because the laminator/nozzle selector isn't as conducive to high volumes of water flow.

Man, that sucks. That is one nasty bladder burst.
Thanks M4 for the info. I was wondering about the 2500 and 2000 mk2 bladder, whether they are the same thing.

R.I.P. CPS 2000... as marauder noted, there's really nothing that can be done to repair a torn rubber bladder and hope it to function as well as it used to do again. There are a number adhesives that can be used to stick pieces of rubber together, but none that will survive continued expansions and contraction that a water blaster PC experiences in use. It's pretty much replace or bust.

...All the things mentioned, are well known to me...But it is a Mk1...so I will trying everything to get it work again^^ No replacement of a different bladder will cover what the Mk1 bladder is able to, that is the problem, as the Mk1 bladder is different from all the others...

@ isoaker: What about the Power Pak bladders ? just different too I think ... ?

I have already had a try with my glue, at least a try out of desperation. Of course it did not work...

But some hours ago I had a great idea, which may even work^^ I will need some time to try this out and may I am lucky...The funeral is not planed yet!

Will keep you updated. Any reslistic ideas are great and read full of pleasure and hope ;) !

the right LRT will give it the same power. look up wayne schmidt`s cps 2000 page, the same thing happened to him.

He has TWO CPS 2000 MK1s. Lucky him. And he got the same power as the other one after he replaced the tube with LRT.

...Well at least I had two :) And now I only have one left ind great conditions...I will never take this out but put it behind some glas :D

At the moment I am not at home. I will get over it again tomorow and may I can get it work again with the original Mk1 tubing(or at least something that works with same pressure and PC volume :) )
