He's crazy.
the biggest screws on a gun i've seen. the screws don't hold on to the screwdriver, and i've tried at least 3 kinds.

"Mr."? :goofy: I've opened my Arctic Blast many times, which is pretty much the exact same thing as the IM2. I've actually found it to be the easiest blaster I've ever opened, since the pump cap is screwed on, not glued. I never noticed any problem with the screws though. What sizes of screwdrivers did you use? I can't remember what I used, but my suggestion is to just try a bigger size.

Also, please try not to overuse the smileys. One is plenty enough to convey your emotions; you don't need 9. Though not a written rule, I usually stick to no more than 3 smileys per post, unless the post is very long.

If none of the screwdrivers work, it's possible you've graunched the head of the screws, by trying to turn them with a screwdriver that's too small, making it (almost) impossible to remove with a normal screwdriver (depending on how badly graunched they are). You'll have to try and have a look at the screw heads to determine what to do next.

If they (the X notches which the screwdriver fit into) look relatively intact, you've been lucky and you just need to find the right size screwdriver (bear in mind that you do have to push down on the screws to keep the screwdriver from jumping out of the X notch as you rotate it, especially if this is the first time you've opened the blaster as the screws will be quite tight).

If they are not completely intact, but the basic shape is there, you could try a flat head screwdriver which fits into the notches.

If they are trashed (to the point that nothing grips them and they look almost completely circular [O notch rather than X notch :goofy: ]) you'll either need a special damaged screw remover tool, or you'll have to drill out the screws and replace them (or just don't open the blaster, depending on what you want to do when it's open).

If you can't tell (and with some screws they look graunched when they really aren't) you could post a pic of the head of a screw head that you can't remove.

Technically there are 10 smilies. :goofy:

But the message still stands; please use smilies to enhance your text, not the other way round. :goofy:

I'm takin' this this guy apart to try M4's idea of replacing air pc's on AP guns with elastic pc's from cps and weapons with elastic/rubber chambers.

Take a picture. I don't think we have any pics of the Iron Man 2 online, just the Arctic Blast. I know they are basically the same, but I'd like to see the difference with the pull valve.

It never ceases to amaze me what I have managed to repurpose for use in mods. It also never ceases to amaze me how many spare parts I have that I have never used. XD
