Internal pressureleak Monster X (2000)
Opened it and discovered that the internal white hard plastic tubing is leaking internally. This part goes from the pump to both reservoir and PC. I am looking for a replacement or advice on how to fix it.

Maurice

If you know where the leak is, sand it LIGHTLY, and cover it with epoxy putty. Make sure you need the putty properly, and let it cure for at least 24 hours before pressurizing. What you want is the PUTTY, NOT the epoxy glue. It is also called plumbers putty. Read the instructions closely before using, and only use it in a well ventilated area.
I have fixed many leaks with E-Putty.
Good luck.

You can also use regular epoxy which will seep into the cracks better than putty will, but is generally a bit more annoying to use.

You're looking for plumbers EPOXY putty. If it doesn't say epoxy, don't buy it. I bought a tub of plumbers putty thinking it was epoxy putty, and it turned out to be for sealing, but not for pressure.

Thx for the replies, but the leak doesn't show on the outside of the white plastic tubing. I can't use the mentioned solutions. The pressure is lost into the reservoir. What I really need is a replacement tubing system for the Monster X or another solution.

Sounds like a check valve (or pressure relief valve) problem. Most likely issue is that the spring for the PRV has work out. However, the blaster should be making odd noises if that is happening. Can you describe the leak more? Does it only occur while pumping or does it also happen while there's water in the pressure chambers?

My XP 150 has a check valve problem. After pumping for a few seconds it makes a horrible metal on metal sound. Does your Monter X do this?

It occurs after some pumps when there is some pressure in the pressurechamber. The pressure leaks back into the reservoir.

Re: Internal pressureleak Monster X (2000)
I sacrificed parts of a cps 4100 to restore the Monster X and it works 100%.
4100 had a broken trigger and it was impossible to release the water when the pc was fully pressurised.
Parts that went from the 4100 into the Monster X are the trigger and the shots plastic tubing.
Thanks for all offered solutions. I'll keep the leftovers from tje 4100 since its pc is exactly the same size as the pc from the Monster X.
