My teammate has a CPS 1500 that has had its pump fall out and is currently lost. Would a pump be easy to make by using a pipe with some rubber on the bottom. if anyone has any idea's please let me know.

CPS 1500 touch up
Re: CPS 1500 touch up
On the bright side, I've never personally had to do that sort of repair (but that doesn't help you, though). Ok, more seriously, assuming you can acquire the right diameter rod/pipe/wooden dowel and a snug fitting O-ring or use some electrical tape, a new pump-rod can be built for the broken CPS 1500.
General overview:
measure opening
get a rod/wood dowel that will loosely fit (not too loose) into the pump shaft
attach either an O-ring or wrap electrical tape to create a seal at one end
build a more comfortable grip on the other side.
As well, SSCentral has a guide on building a pump rod. (part of the APH instruction set)
If you'd be willing, please take pictures of your repair process and share them so that others who may end up in the same situation can learn from your experiences!
