Yeah, so I need a new one. While hunting for some Tarantulas I did see them at Target, but I dunno if they're there anymore. I get paid tomorrow so I can check after work, but if they don't have them, where could I find them?

Hmm... You might want to see if you can repair the FF, but I think they're still at Target. If you want, you can try the Arctic Blast, it's similar but may be more durable, since if you gett another FF, it'll probably just break again. You can also see if Hasbro will send you a replacement.

I recently purchased a new one at Target and I seriously hope that they have fixed that trigger malfunction since it ruined my previous FF.

I bought an Arctic Blast and took it apart. From my experience, this water gun seems to be more well built. I also like the colors better. I would recommend one to anyone who's looking for a Flash Flood because the Arctic Blast pretty much is an improved Flash Flood.

Uhm, actually, I HAVE an Arctic Blast if you remember. When the FF broke I decided to test the AB out and, well... just trash. FF is like 10x better than the AB in all aspects. With the same amount of pumps as it takes to fully charge the FF, the AB's flood nozzle is like a sputter compared to FF!
Flash Flood ftw.
Anyway, I went ahead and bought a new FF. And to recap: my Arctic Blast is just crap compared to the Flash Flood, I don't care HOW durable it is. Either that or my AB is broken too.
EDIT: Yeah, I just tested my AB against my new FF and the FF's flood nozzle totally overpowered AB's. For about the same amount of pumps, FF's flood nozzle gets better output and almost double the shot duration.

My Arctic Blast seemed to perform exactly like the Flash Floods I've seen. Either your Arctic Blast is a dud or your Flash Flood performs better than usual for no particular reason. I've seen both happen before. I'll have to take some statistics for my Aqua Blast. There is no reason from what I've seen as to why it should perform different.

See if you can do a PC swap, I think I've taken the PC out of an FF before. (but that's only assuming your AB's PC happens to be that unusually weak) They also seem to be about the same size. Also, don't forget to remove the screen and do a nozzle drill.

I was just at my local Target, and they had nearly a dozen FF's on the shelves, with a smattering of Arctic Blasts, Overloads, and a couple of the rest of the 2007 lineup. They also had the 100 oz backpacks there packaged individually for 9.99 each. Finding a Hydro Blitz at Target was tough.. was only one store left in town that had any.. though, for your money, imho, the FF kicks the Hydro's butt.

For your money, I completely agree. You can get like 3-5 Flash Floods for the cost of a Hydroblitz, and 3-5 Flash Floods are just definitely a far better choice. Hydroblitz isn't a terrible gun, I own one and am possibly considering a second one for dual-wieldage, but if I was restricted in terms of funds, I'd take the FF.
On an aside, I'd like a few more Flash Floods, does anyone know what the prices are of them at various outlets, as well as which store has the best deal?
Are the flash floods even available in stores still?

My local Target has as many FF's as it does AB's. (at least that's what it appears to be) They usually run from $17 to $20.

Hmm; Target... The closest one to me is about 40 minutes :-\... I'll stick with ebay or ebay stores for now, because 17.00+ does seem a little stiff.
Any other suggestions from anyone?
I'm going to Toys R Us sometime soon hopefully.
Not sure what/which they have in stock. I'll definitely buy an AB though and probably 1/2 Xp-70s, which they always do seem to have.
