I just got one of those backback soakers with a QFD, problem is I dont have the required hose connectors that apparently "FITS EVERY GARDEN HOSE". I only have the quick fill connectors.
Being from Australia i'm not sure if the hose connectors I saw on the box are available here or not. The thing is though, I dont know what they are even called? If anyone knows what this hose adapter is called, please let me know.
Thanks

You can order them online. I'll post the link in a minute. I assume it's an SC Big Trouble or a SC Power Pack?
Found it! http://www.hasbro.com/forms/orderform.c ... ker&sku=SS
Uh oh. US only

Not sure if those are it. What I'm after should be around a hardware store, its the thing that goes into the end of your hose and connects to the qfd. Thats what Im after but I dont know what its called?

Oh, I thought you meant the thing you hook up to the soaker. You might have to buy an american hose online or an adapter.

Any idea's where I could find one? I tried ebay but im not really sure what im after.
Thanks
EDIT: I've found something that may work http://www.toolprice.com/product/7060D
However now there is another problem, what do you use to connect the other end of the hose to the garden tap? I've never seen any such connector before?

I lived in Australia for a while, and over there and here in New Zealand those fittings are common. I don't remember the exact name of it, but you could take the QFD with you to your local hardware store and show it to them, and explain that you need a fitting to attach it to your hose. It'll probably cost only a couple of bucks. Best of luck!

Thanks, I managed to find something that worked in my harware store. Thank-god too, otherwise I'd have to import one of those hoses.
I guess water pressure must be different too, because the QFD shoots off when I have the tap too high, I have to lower it to stay on. :;):
