I've closed it up for the moment. Must finish one project first.cooldood31 wrote:Ineteresting. Very interesting. It certainly looks different on the inside than I thought it would. If you still have it open maybe you should try freezing the check valve.

Much better innards than most guns. I like how you can get all the excess water out of the tank by tilting it back when you pump. Excluding the wiring, it seems relatively simple for a soaker. Might have to get me one of these.

My main complaint on this soaker (and the Lightning) is just the height of the trigger-grip handle. It's just too short for me to hold comfortably (and the bottom part is to big thick that my pinky has no place to go).
Otherwise, 'tis a good stock soaker with nice features (i.e. CPS-like firing chamber and multiple nozzles). Don't even need the batteries for the pressure gauge since you can SEE the PC through the casing.

The wires run from the battery to the electronic pressure gauge and to the pressure sensor.BlueMage wrote:wow, what are all those wires for? ???

Uhh.. as I said above, the wires are for the electronic pressure sensor and gauge. The stream isn't lit, but the electronic pressure gauge changes colour depending on how pressurized the blaster is: Red means low pressure... all Green means ready for action!Nick wrote:What is the wiring for? Doe it light up like a storm water gun?

There are 2 things that I dont like about the Piranha. The first is the placement of the gauge button thing. When im trying to battle with it, it messes up my hand and it's kind of ackward to shoot. After a while it hurts the area of my palm where my thumb is.
The second is the second handle behind the first one. It makes you have to place your arm around the second handle, and it's not like im going to use the second handle to hold my gun. In the future I think the water warior line should get rid of these use less parts of the gun.
Another thing that I have really noticed about the difference between diaphram tech and CPS tech is you really need to pump diaphram all the way to be able to get full power from it. It's not those types of guns where you only pump it 5 times and it shoots its max range.
