Am I Cooked??

Post by Derg » Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:09 pm

So I've got this super soaker cps 2500. A tiny bit of water would leak out of the valve but nothing abnormal and it didn't affect performance. I got it back out for the first time in a while the other day and filled it up. When I started pumping, the gun was internally leaking BADLY and it was barely holding pressure, I could only get it up to slightly above the empty mark. It would shoot a tiny bit but there's obviously something wrong. I assume its the bladder but it seems fine upon my inspection.

Without opening the blaster, it's hard to tell. Open it up and let us know what you find.

The bladder is fortunately one of the few components that can be replaced with off-the-shelf components. And they do tend to wear out, so replacing the bladder's probably a good idea even if that's not the issue. Check out this guide: http://www.sscentral.org/repairs/broken ... adder.html
