Can someone who has a Blazer and successfully opened it tell me how? I can't, even if I pry it open. I got very mad. So... Help is greatly appreciated.

Can you give us a little more detail on what you've tried? I've opened up a Piranha, but would assume the Blazer should opening similarly. It took a bunch of unscrewing and gentle prying (especially to protect the internal wiring), but I don't recall significant problems opening it.

Well, first I unscrewed all the screws, then I got a flathead and started to pry. What I'm thinking is that the 2005 version is glued on the inside, so I can't open it.

@hydroblitz: so no part of the casing shows an ability to separate? I'd be a little surprised as I don't believe it would be possible for the whole casing to be glue (though it is possible that it is glued in parts). I do know on some soakers I've opened, I've had to be a little more forceful to pop the partially glued seams. Did you at least manage to remove the pump handle casing?

@isoaker: Sorry, let me rephrase that. I was able to open everything (including the pump handle casing) except this one tiny spot where the batteries go.

Why do you need to open it? There's little to nothing you can do inside a blazer to mod it, and I'd recommend against opening it unless if it was broken.

You're gonna laugh, but to remove the electronic power metre. Stop laughing.

I did that to my Piranha, thinking it'd lighten up the gun. While it didn't do that to any considerable amount, it was nice having a normal grip from the removal of the back trigger, and that's probably all you need to do. After I took it out, I covered the area with duck tape so the seams wouldn't get annoying.

You COULD do the same thing with epoxy on the back trigger to hold it off and removing the batteries, and duct taping over the trigger so your hands dont get irritated, but removing the meter is less permanent, so meh,

^Doesn't matter how much duct tape you put, as long as the back trigger is in place, it's going to cause annoyance.
The best and least permanent way is just opening up and removing the trigger. (without unwiring or removing anything else except the batteries)

The problem is, when I tried to pry it open, things got out of place.

The problem with that is, if the trigger were directl connected to the switch, you'd have to cut off the wires to the switch, and you'd have a hole in the back of the grip, possibly irritating your hands.

^You can simply remove the piece and the spring connected to it; you can even leave the contact in place. (the piece that the trigger's supposed to press) And the hole in the back that remains is why I suggested the duct tape.
