I have a better idea of my scheduling now. I have family stuff on the weekend of the 24th and HvZ on the 31st. The 10th is too soon, which leaves the 17th as the only weekend I could do (which is also pretty soon). All of my weekends in April are already booked for events.

RIP?

I am available on the following weekends:

March 24
April 21
May 12
May 19

We don't all have to be present, but attendance has to be decent. So get the word out and let me know what works for everyone.

Sorry for being AWOL, but some life issues got in the way and blah blah blah.

As far as I know, I'm free pretty much every weekend except March 24th and April 8th. Might have some other things come up, but I usually try to make water wars a priority.

I'd like to have the war earlier rather than later, but I don't know if that works for everyone. 3v3 should be the minimum, as stated already. If we do it April 21st we'd have me, my brother (hopefully), marauder, Tony and Danny? We'd only need like one more. Scott? David? Storm? I'll ask my cousins too; some of them might come if they're available.

Based off speaking with people offline it looks like May 12 -13 is going to be the best possible dates. Please post a reply here if you would be able to attend on that date.

Thank you.

May 12-13 will work for me. I will also ask a few local friends to see if any of them can come, and check with David as well.

Now that we have an event on the board, maybe I will be motivated to try and fix some broken blasters!

I think I'm available then. I will try to poke my head in more often, but no promises. Fortunately this event won't require much planning other than picking teams. Remember that those teams will stay the same for the remainder of the season, so choose wisely. Hopefully we'll get a chance to have the next two battles. The second one should be at Cedar Hill in the summer, but we need a good place for the third one which would take place in the fall.

So is anyone around me going to need a ride for this thing? So far I am bringing David, and likely DX. I can fit one more, so just wanted to check with people here before I talked to any local friends.

We now have a couch and a reclining EZ chair in the garage. There is also a freezer in the garage that you can use. The garage has full working electricity. I'll bring some more chairs and the air mattress out there as well. You can either stay in the garage or camp out in the yard (cuz of having a baby). The door will be open if you need to use the restroom. Also, we saved the Christmas tree so we can have a great fire.

I am probably picking up a Gopro Hero 5 black for this. Had been saving for the 6, but that's $400, while the 5 is on sale for $220.

Well, sounds like no one else needs a ride, so I guess I will start asking local friends.

So apparently my cousin has her graduation party on May 12th. I don't know if there's any way to move the event forward or backward a week, is there? I mean, I don't technically have to go, but a lot of the family will be there. I'll keep you all updated.

Is everyone else available May 19th?

If everyone comes we currently have 10 attendees. This would be the first 5 v 5 war since ????

I've also just purchased a Gopro Hero 5 Black. This is an incredible camera. I'm going to get some spare batteries for more shooting. The touch screen is great and the film quality is such a huge improvement. I've already used it to take a few photos for some things that I will be posting here later. Been fixing up some guns and working on the location. I've also put a couch, lazy boy recliner, coffee table, and several other chairs and furniture pieces out in the garage. You have the option of camping out in the back yard or sleeping in the garage.

This is going to be the best war we've had in a long time.

The 19th wont work for me. That is my sister's graduation. I'd rather not miss it, but the biggest issue is that I need to drive out there to help bring all her stuff home regardless.

Whatever doesn't work for Scott also doesn't work for me or David, since he's driving us.
