HydroBrawl Water Warfare 05/17/08 @ 14:00
I don't have much time right now so I'll just link directly to the report on my website.

If anyone wants to repost for the war articles section on their site, just let me know.

Nice summary of your battles! Sounds like a good time for the most part other than the problems of some order and getting help cleaning up. I, too, have had issues in the past about clean-up; if a water blaster isn't their own, some people just don't take good care of them. Then again, what I've seen some people do with their own blasters, I'm not too surprised, either.
BTW, I really like your armoury pic at the bottom!
5 games in 2 hours is pretty good! Can you give us a brief summary of the rule set you used? As for reposting, while the report is great, it's still probably best that it remain on your site while you opt to run the site. Gives visitors something unique to your site to read.

By "games" I meant short rounds. I also mentioned in the article that it was pure 1HK elimination. (any substaintial amount of water counts as a kill)
Oh, and I figured it could be posted up on both sites at the same time. I believe I have some other battle reports here that are also on my site. However, I didn't put up any tech articles on mine (not yet at least) since that currently falls outside the scope of the site's purpose. (and because I'm lazy)

Oh, in that case, with your permission, I'll repost it on iSoaker.com and include a link to HydroBrawl also on the page.Oh, and I figured it could be posted up on both sites at the same time.

"If anyone wants to repost for the war articles section on their site, just let me know."
So that'll be a yes. (sorry that I didn't make it quite clear)
This is slightly irrelevant, but I'm considering adding a "HydroLog" section to the site for documenting repairs, mods, homemades, equiptment, etc. since I already have written a lot of those articles around SSC and perhaps even a few here. However, there are some other things I should fix up first. (such as the sloppily written history and how soakers work sections)

@C-A_99: actually, you made it somewhat clear, but I wanted to be absolutely sure.
As for building up your site, anything you are willing to create and develop would be great, particularly in areas you really enjoy making (since that also likely means you'll also continue to build more in the future). All I can suggest is build at a comfortable page and don't overwhelm yourself with all that you want to do; just build what you can bit by bit and in time you may even surprise yourself how much you've managed to do!

teh lawlrus'z...
I'm gonna have to get me some buckets now
Nice report though, did you make the names for the teams, or was it chosen by members? It seems as though it was a balanced (numbers wise) battle though.

Team Ultima was agreed on by its leaders last year (refering to the team that uses my friend's house as the base, and ASS refering to the team at my house), but really, theres no formal teams. We just choose the teams at every war. However, that doesn't mean we can't organize an official team for fighting outside teams, it just means we'll never officially segregate, dispite the fact that friend groups currently tend to group together.
And yes, I has stoled teh lawlrus'z bukkitz. =O
