Like specialty rounds, eh? I guess it can make things somewhat interesting. I still think I prefer simple long-range OHK/OHS though. Now, on to the nitpicks, since I wasn't on for all of the chat (and I can't access the chat room anymore for some reason).

First of all, I ain't too keen on having a full-blown rivalry OHK round right after I get there. I'll want to settle in a bit (not sure if that's the word I'm looking for), since I will have just driven 700 miles (though if my dad comes, he can help with the driving). I'd rather have a more casual round (or rounds) on Friday night (as a kind of warm-up), like the ones we had at Hydropocalypse, and push the hardcore stuff to Sat. and Sun. night. Of course, if ya'll absolutely must have an ultra hardcore battle on Friday night, I won't complain, but I'd rather not do it on the first night. Just my opinion.

Also, I kind of want to do more OHK. We can stick to OHS for the long/hardcore battles, but if we're having smaller and/or specialty rounds (not all of them), I'd rather do OHK. I always prefer OHK for smaller battles, and OHS for larger battles. Just a thought, as we haven't done OHK since like Hydropocalypse! Alternatively, we could do 3HK or 5HK or whatever.

My last nitpick is the homemade round. We would need to have at the very least 10 homemades to make that work, and even if Drenchenator can bring a bunch of his brother's homemades, I still don't think we'll have enough. Not only that, we would need homemades that are actually practical for battles and not just single-shot cannons. Basically, we need a lot of APHs and CPHs. I'm not bringing my APH; I'll probably bring my SCH, but that needs a hose to work. I guess the only things I can contribute to a homemade-only round would be my Douchenator and one shot of my SCH (assuming we fill it up at M4's house ahead of time), although you can get two or three shots if you have a fast wrist and are using the small nozzle, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the weapon. Maybe if we don't have enough homemades, those without them can film.

That's about all I have to say. You should add in times for each round as well. Also, is this war going to continue past the weekend? I'll stay as long as there are enough people left to fight.

Oh yeah, 1337 90575!

I agree with Seal on the homemade round. We may get enough HMs but they would have to be battle worthy and most aren't.
But there's never been an HM- only round, so it would be a good way to find out how well it works.

But overall. it looks like fun! I'm glad we will be having night battles again.

By the way, I'm Seal's younger bro and Firebird's older bro. and I've been here for a while just haven't posted.

Yes, a homemade round would be fun, but I just don't think it would work. The only "homemade" probably wouldn't even count since it is just 3 bootleg stream machines taped together. I was planning on building a APH or WBL for this war, but I am struggling with school so much it isn't going to happen.

On another note I would like to have a "unusual guns soakfest" where we all use sucky and odd guns for the battle (Water Ball, Helix, Shield Blaster, ect.) I just think it would be fun to have a battle where we all pick our guns based on "coolness" rather then how good they are (does anyone have an XP Backfire?).
I also really like that we are having a Water Warriors only round, I was really mad when I didn't get much use out of the camo cover for my Vindicator at the last war.

I think your unusual guns soakfest sounds great. I would, however, like to make it a team soakfest. We have not had one of those since Friday night at Downpour '11. They are a lot of fun. I left 1 hour between most of the rounds on the schedule. This should be more than enough. In fact, there is an hour and a half break between waterballoon dodgeball and the night round at the under construction house. We could probably fit it in then. I feel like it would be best late in the afternoon to cool down from all the serious rounds.

What guns would everyone use? I would probably use my newly modded SS 100 mk2. The 100 is one of the most familiar Super Soakers, and it's really not that rare - but it's very rare on the battlefield now, considering I think I'm the only member that's used one over the past 5 years, and it has become unusual now that I've modded it. Yes, a modded 100. I hope we get some rare stock guns though, like Oozinators and 1-3-5s. This should be good.

I like that wacky weapons / gimmick guns soakfest idea actually.

^So do I. I also like the idea of a team soakfest. I actually can't recall ever doing a team soakfest in my life. It might be a fun way to end the war. As for guns, I have something special in mind.

Seal I find it hard to believe that you have never done a team soakfest even I have. There lots of fun

I may have, but I can't remember. Most of my soakfests have been FFAs, and my team battles are usually OHK. So what are your chances of coming to this?

Yes, I like the idea of a team soakfest. That is actually what I meant; Most the local wars I have are team soakfests, so around here unless you specifically say something is a free for all, then that means it is a team based game.
As far as that round goes though I plan on breaking out my Water Ball ML 100! I am going to get owned! :P Although I will probably have my Shield Blaster 3000 and Helix nearby, the WB100 is really cool, but it sucks. Maybe I will have to see if I can fix my WB SL 175, that one might be able to beet the Helix!

Actually I think it would make the most sense to have a "unusual guns" round, and then separately an "sucky guns" round. The former would be a a team based soakfest where the driest person was the winner. This round would be somewhat competitive. The winner of the latter would be decided on a vote of who had the worst gun. This would really just be to give us all a good laugh while we charge each other with Electrostorms and HH dream pistols!

Exnay on the "sucky" blasters round. I refuse to chase anyone around with an HH dream etc. If you want to use a sucky blaster in the unique/weird team soakfest that's cool.

I used to have team soakfest games all the time before starting up 1HK type games. Even now, they're still in my bag of games that I take out once in a while, but unfortunately, I haven't expanded my soakfest game library past hidden-flag CTF and infection.

Here's something you guys could try: a new variation of infection. Zombies get pool noodles and are invincible, but survivors get all the best guns: CPS's, homemades, hoses, etc. available. Should be pretty chaotic, and possibly dangerous if there's a hose.

M4, maybe update the OP with all the information needed so peeps don't have to sludge through 5 pages of discussion? :goofy: Although I suppose that doesn't do any good for my likelihood of attending. (Which is zero thanks to school.) Any league summer events are fair game for me though; I can now afford an airline ticket on my own!

If you can name a date accurate to one month (has to be after April, I guess. Graduation ceremony's on the 27th.) and a location, I'll see what I can do. =p Would really prefer to drive on a road trip, but I have to find others willing to drive. I don't think the airlines will like the idea of me bringing half the HBWW arsenal, but the airlines are my last option if no one else comes.

I guess that's for another thread though.

* cue rocky music now*... The last time i was in NC i went camping ( woop dee do), but the kicker is this. I started a fire with a gasoline gun i made and then i slept in the trees tied to a limb. For some reason the woods caught on fire and i had to run for my life. I finally ran into a crick and was able to escape the blaze. Mud is a great way to hold on leaf bandages if you get a cut or small burn. I learned that misquotes hate my skin bc their suckers break upon impact. Watch out cuz I'm a master archer wit dat classic SS Bow and Arrow.

Seriously going to have to try and make this...
First you wanna kill me, now you wanna kiss me. Blow. I'm back bi****s.

Nemesis, you have a huge arsenal for your age. I'm guessing you get your license in 3 years?

Fishfan, next summer?

latsevyert, I think you just just relived the Hunger Games for us... but we'd still be happy to have you at the war. So long as you're not using a real bow and arrow

Yes I do!! im turning 14 in a few weeks. Oh, and i do have a car. I get some of my guns from people who don't want them. My dad is a repo man and anything that is in a repoed car and is not reclaimed by the owner in 60 days is my dads to keep/throw away/give to me if it is a water blaster! But, i also have a summer job that pays for my arsenal too.
