once i can get my hands on these, i will use them. a big cannon as my main (any one will do) an apd as side arm (i'll get a belt and put the blaster in it, and just wear the back pack.) and a few other small guns in by belt maybe storms or stuff like that and i'll bring water balloons.

I currently don't use a combo but i am trying to make one using a cps 3200 with a heavy back-up blaster like the cps 2700 or sc powerpack.

EDIT: in my opinion dual weilding should not be done unless the blasters are pumpless or have really long shot time (10+ seconds) otherwise dual weilding is stupid.

^^^Not necessarily stupid. With smaller soakers (pistols), dual wielding allows you to put more water on target than you would ordinarily. That's why when I'm using pistols, I always bring out the Storm 750s, or the 800 and 1200.

Plus if you're really good, you can target two people at once.

I think I may have a new combo for me. When my CPS 1500 comes. I will dual wield CPS 1500's. Not too heavy still with awesome firepower, range, soakage and looks. :goofy:

Not true storm gun's have about a 2x nozzle so soakage from 2 of them would equal 4x while a cps 2100 has a 7x nozzle so the 2100 has more soakage however dual powerpacks would have 20x soakage so it really depends on what you are dual weilding. And as for getting multiple people that's why larami created the fan blast.

So far, the only thing I've "dual wielded" (and I've only done skirmishes) was a Piranha and a Xenon.
Has anyone noticed that the Xenon is a great gun (IMO)? Not pistol sized, but maybe a smallish light rifle.

I think Adrian meant by "put more water on target" as you have a better chance of hitting the enemy with 2 seperate streams than 1 stream. If they dodge that larger single stream, it was wasted. If they dodge one pistol shot, you hit them with the other, provided that they don't have really good reflexes.

I concur. If you shoot a large stream from a large cannon and it's doged, you spend time pumping. You shoot a small stream from one pistol to fake em, then take em with the other pistols stream while they're occupied! :p

Unless you're a person like me, whose reflexes will allow you to dodge both shots. :p

Or you could just use the xxp-175 xxp-275 or monster XL.

You don't have much more chance of hitting someone with a double-barrelled soaker, than with a normal one, in my experience. Plus the fact that they don't shoot as far, and require more pumping. You're much better off using two soakers.

And unless your a person like me, whose aim with a water gun is great since most of the time I know where people will dodge (although once in a while someone dodges into the first stream, that kinda defeats the point, or they just don't move...)

Do you guys think this is a good heavy combo a cps 2500 or 3200 with a cps 2700 as back up.

If I can get an APD, I figure that I'll carry that, a CPS 4100, and a CPS 2100 or smaller. If I can't, it'll just be the 4100 and the 2100.

APDs are very nice backups. They work well with other CPS guns and complement them fairly well.

I have tried that combo already, it only works if the 2100 has a strap. :soakon2:

My current planned combo is my CPS 1700 and my CPS 2000. But the strap holder on my 1700 is broken, so I will have to fix it. :(

21k or splashzooka with a small pistol (probably a max-d 2000) a nice small combo, nothing complicated.

My new combo is CPS 3200 or CPS 2100 as my main weapon, and my Storm 500 as my sidearm. If I dual wield, I'll use my new Stinger or a Liquidator for long-range targeting, and the Storm 500 for precise hits at a shorter range.

My new combo is a CPS-4100 with an SC-600 as secondary and Storm 500 for backup.
