what should I use?
I'm holding an 1HS water war at adair park on the 23rd with some friends (the whole park, not just the trees where Marauder and me dueled). Optional primary's are the 300, and the should be working CPS 1500. Considering the age range of players and my fitness level neither will hurt my team's overall mobility, so of the two which would you choose?
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity.

Yeah the 300 is much better for intimidation, I say soak 'em all either way!

300 backpack hooked to 1500. I just fixed my 1500 and love it again. The nozzle selector, stream, trigger tactile feedback, etc. are all just so slick.
But since that involves work, just go with whatever you prefer. If your friends are of lower skill level, you can up the challenge for yourself and take a 150, Colossus, etc. (Believe it or not, I had to do this with a 270 against opponents who got more exercise than I did, but weren't quite able to take advantage of that.)

I would go with the 1500. It's more practical, and its massive output makes up for the 5-foot range deficit. I would only go with the 300 if you plan on doing a lot of shooting.

300 for open areas or with a team, 1500 for more difficult areas where mobility is key.
