People generally don't look up to the CPS 2000 as much when it comes to soakfests, since it can't shoot continuously for more than a second. I disagree though: it would fit perfectly for a fast, hit and run style. The super-thick stream soaks easily and is easier to hit opponents with, but you got to be careful on the trigger since it takes 2-4 pumps just to recover from one tap shot. It's a great blaster to learn how to use: I'd say go for it if you can find one at a good price and/or afford one. Going by the weapon analogies earlier, the CPS 2000 is like a big plasma cannon that takes some time to recharge.
2700 is probably second to the Monster XL for soakfests. They're decently powerful, though not at the level of a 2500, but they have great capacity. I got a 2700 relatively early on because of the price I found it at. It was a nice upgrade from the 1000, 1200, and 2100 I had at the time.

I was actually interested in the water war in your community. But I currently do not have a car. How would one reach their from Queens, New York to West Hurley Park (AKA "Dug Hill"), Hurley, NY without a car ?
I need to pick up CA99 at LaGuardia, so I will be in that borough on the way to Downpour. Alternatively, there is Metro-North to anywhere on the way.

It's probably easiest if you ride with Duxburian and I. I will be riding shotgun. As far as I'm aware, you should be pretty close to the LGA airport, although I don't know the area very well. (You and Duxburian know it better, so plan that out with him.)
Feel free to post in the Downpour thread:
http://www.waterwar.net/site_wwn/board/ ... 45-60.html More details on dates, times, etc. are in there as well as when Duxburian will be picking me up. If you want all important info PM'd/packed together, just ask and either of us can assist.
