Tactics: Setting up a base

If you have an organized waterfight you will want a base to hold maps, extra guns, water jugs, and any other un-carryable supplies. I would suggest making the rules to where the only way to infiltrate a base is by shooting into it and you cannot physically destroy it yourself. This way you don't have to keep a guard at the base at all times (especially useful when you're low on men). Sometimes though, people like to play where you can tear down the base if you like. If you have a treehouse this is fun but if you only have cardboard and trashbags and the like, you won't appreciate your base being found and carried away by the enemy. I only suggest the other way if you have a very solid structured base (like a treehouse) so that infiltration is harder. The cardboard box and crate method is sort of more challenging but can be fun as well. It doesn't HAVE to be cardboard, use plastic crates or wooden boards or camping tents etc. If you use any kind of cardboard, be sure to cover it with a tarp or garbage bags so the water doesn't soak it into a gooey, floppy, pulp. You can also use a tent (those are always waterproof) like those ones you fold up into the little bag. try to make your base around a water faucet so you can refill there. Have fun making the base and come up with as many variations as you like. And with tree house bases always keep a guard if you have a removable ladder and its impossible to infiltrate without a trator.
