Water Warfare Theme Songs?

Got any suggestions or recommendations for music/tunes that just seem to go well when engaged in a water fight and/or could imaging would make good background music during a water-fight video/movie?

This thought came back to mind after re-vitalizing the ubiquitous music thread as well as remembering that there is such a thing as a Super Soaker Music CD. :goofy:

I have to say, and it may be a nostalgia burst, but I can't listen to 50 cent's "In Da Club" without thinking of the Aqua Nexus...

Creed's Bullets. I get this stuck in my head at EVERY fight, even if the last time I listened to it was more than a year ago. Don't know why.

In terms of creating music, I play drums and my friends play guitar, we might be able to make something. (though it would probably be entirely instrumental)

As for what I have, Breaking Benjamin's Blow Me Away (which DX used in one of his videos) would do well. Most of my music is composed of metal and classic rock, most of which would work well in videos, but not as theme songs.

Da da da da da da da da BATMAN!

No seriously, everytime I pick up a soaker, I recite the chorus of Fort Minor's "Remember the Name" to myself. If you havent heard it, it goes:

"Cuz its ten percent luck,
twenty percent skill,
fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
five percent pleasure,
fifty percent pain,
and a hundred percent reason to remember the name"

I like Boom by P.O.D. It;s a good song and the only one remotely close to rap that I like. Blow Me Away would also be good, as C-A_99 said.

It's funny because everytime I use a super soaker with a backpack, the old Ghostbusters theme song get stuck in my head! :goofy:

Otherwise I'll say the Matrix battle theme (the one from the first movie in the hall) :bringit: :soakon2:

I heard one today at work, its by Slayer and its called "Jihad", I couldnt help thinking of some of the battles Ive had where I felt like I was on a Holy Crusade or something.

Just so you know, I'm Christian, not Muslim.

How about Pirates of the Carribean themes? I can see those working well with soakers.

Certain Pirates themes might work. Many of them sound similar, so you'd have to do some sorting to select the best fit for the specific water war. [Notice the lovely sibillance in that sentence? Wasn't intentional.

The Medallion Calls - Klaus Badelt
The Black Pearl - Klaus Badelt
Will and Elizabeth - Klaus Badelt
Barbossa is Hungry - Klaus Badelt
Blood Ritual - Klaus Badelt
Bootstrap's Bootstraps - Klaus Badelt
One Last Shot - Klaus Badelt
Jack Sparrow - Hans Zimmer [would probably cut out certain slow parts]
A Family Affair - Hans Zimmer
Wheel of Fortune - Hans Zimmer

I was thinking Skull and Crossbones, and Swords Crossed (don't know the composers). There's also Moonlight Serenade, but it only gets interesting at the very end.

Wow, I know pretty much none of this...besides the music from the movies. Duel of fates, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.

I'm not sure where I first heard it, but the song "In the End" by "Linkin Park" often comes to mind.
Which is sort of strange, because I don't usualy like that brand of music, but I like this one and it seems like it would fit so well in a water-warfare movie.

Here is a Final Fantasy music video with "In the End".

Duxburian brought up Dustin Crenna earlier, and I got some of his stuff to my iPod, it's all pretty pumped. I set aside a new playlist with all his stuff on it and some more stuff I had and designated it "Get Pumped".

That guy is a good composer, you can find his songs here if you want to listen to them. CNet downloads: Dustin Crenna
