This question has been asked many times by many people, the answer is almost always the same, but this time, I'll elaborate a little more. There is no "Best Gun", it depends on the user, wether you include homemade designs and if you are willing to consider a well modified gun.
The standard reply for this though is that the CPS 1500/1700 is a solid gun overall. Which is quite true, I should know because I own one. But like I said above, there are so many options and variations between people that it would not be the real answer to your query.
