hey! you're a trekkie! :D I am not familiar with this ranking system, and why would we need 5 ranks when we only have seven people?

"Of course i'm a trekkie! what did you think the word ghIqtal was? French? It's Klingon! But the ranking system works, just take away crewman."

There's too many ranks for the amount of people. I was thinking of a leader, two Second-In-Commands ??? (Each S.I.C. commands a squad) and grunts in the two squads.

"I nominate:
Leader: Veteran
2nd in commands: Razor
Wetmonkey
Grunts: Everyone else.
Any objections?

Wetmonkey and I should get control over half the grunts. That way, everyone has to micro-manage a lot less.

after the debacle in the forest, and the mess about cloud, belisaurius began to brood. The use of physical force on cloud had been wrong, and now he felt very inept. "jeez. i'm such an idiot." turning to the remains of the tempest squad and ares legion, he said." I'm sorry guys. Maybe we should never have interfered here. All we managed to do is bring pain, and only brief success. this room isn't defendable enough to hold."

just then, seal frank came crashing through the door. "reporting for duty." he said.

"take the ares legion. guderian has to go home, but we need a reliable commander. we cannot succeed against these people head on - the fact that we have tried and failed proves this. cloud is too strong to fell with anything short of a howitzer, and that would be a tad bit damaging to his internals. try and take your 4 men and use guerilla tactics to disrupt the enemy. contact me over the radios if necessary, otherwise maintain radio silence. we're going to search for a good base site: we'll call for you when it's been discovered and well established."

"ok. men, let's move out." frank seal left the room, taking the ares legion with him. "now..." said belisaurius...

Razor explains to his group; "Let's not try to use any excessive force today. Otherwise you'll start bashing holes in walls (like me). Also, let's try to avoid the manholes. It worked once, but Belisaurius is too smart to let it happen again. The outdoor breakfast with the other team will start at 0800 hours. During that time, we'll eat, discuss the rules, and than start our game at 0900."

So who gets who for troops? I think Veteran should stick by the tank with Monkeyboy, Leppy works alone, putting Spinner with Razor and I don't care where I go, as long as I get revenge. And if that guy punches me one more time, he's going to get clobbered, because next time I won't be tied to a chair.

"radio seal frank and tell him the details about breakfast. tell him to make sure the ares legion makes it there on time. we'll move out in a few minutes." said belisaurius

one of the tempest soldiers immediately began fulfilling beli's orders. (i wish my men were like this in real wars... lol)

thinking to himself, "i hope cloud was ok. that was a little over the edge. i am very, very sorry. i hope that we can patch things up. i remember him from aquatica.... he always seemed to know everything. then again, i was a newbie...."

"move out!!" and then, as an afterthought, beli added." and bring any of the other team's gear. we ought to return them before someone goes psionic. paticularly that one mx(mdx??), it looks like alot of effort went into it."

Suddenly Nibor Dude pops out of no where with a cps 21000 and a cps 41000. Carrying an old military backpack and a kevlar military helmet on his head.
"Hey Belisaurius, sorry im late, #### traffic." said Nibor Dude.
"No problem, We need your help," said Beli, "We're on our way to return and exchange things."

Everything was exchanged and everything was up to par. Each side was now creating bases and creating ranks. The battling would restart at 9. It would be a long day.

hehe... monkeyboy... :goofy: (it's not as if leppy is any better... makes it sound like I have leprosy [*involuntary shudder*]) anyway, you seem to know me pretty well CD. I have a plan, and it doesn't involve me being a 'grunt' (*another involuntary shudder*).

P.S.- if you're wondering why I'm posting at 5:15 AM it is a long story involving a trial dosage of anti ADD medication and losing five hours of sleep.

Anywho, back to the rp:
as the other team members refill guns, gather water baloons, etc., the Leprekan pulls out a thick piece of wire and some pliers. he begins twisting, bending, and squeezing the wire until he has what appears to be a makeshift grappling hook. he fastens it to a long rope and stuffs it in his toolbag along with various vicegrips, screwdrivers, and other tools, strangest of which is a cordless sawzall. obviously weighed down, the Leprekan secures himself to the zipline and heads to the tree nearest to the school, bringing only a cps2100. upon seeing the blue shot rise into the air, he wastes no time and immediately swings the rope+grappling hook toward the roof of the school with astonishing force. in a maneuver one would only otherwise see in a spiderman comic, he makes a huge leap and lands with his feet against the wall and his hands on a rope secured to the school's gutter about 20 ft. above him. he begins to struggle with rappelling up the wall, and when he finally reaches the top he pulls out a screwdriver, walks around the roof a bit and after listening with his ear to the roof stabs it into an obviously well chosen spot; directly above what he inferred to be the new enemy base. The Leprekan proceeds to walk about halfway to the other side of the roof and pull out the cordless sawzall. he cuts a 2' circle in the rusted panels and slides out of sight...

Veteran agreed to be Wetmonkey's escort for the water tank, He took back his K-modded 1000 and grabbed an Xp 40 and an xp 215 from cloud's armory for last resort weapons. He brought his full armory and stored his Xxp 310 (modded) and his Monster X inside the water tank.

"CD?" Called Razor, "If you want Revenge, that's OK, as long as there no injuries, and no distruction of property. Use water only. OK? Good. You can be in my squad. Cloud is working alone, but he, and I will switch positions from time to time. We'll have active radio communication between us, and vet. That means ample access to the tank for insertion/extraction in enemy zones. Our group will pick up a PVC waterballoon launcher back at my place, and mount it on the tank before the game starts."

-Brief pause-

"Oh yeah, and I also brought a grappling hook." Razor added.

"What do I do?" Asked spinner.

"Are you any good with demolitions?"

1: You're on Belisaurius' team.
2: You can have whatever water gun you want (prefferably one you've had experience with)

I you know whats good for you, do not ever call me monkeyboy again.

As far as I am concrened, I am staying in my tank. C.D. and Veteran are with me.

Wetmonkey shifts into 2nd gear and races across the field toward the school. At that moment wetmonkey spots three tempests running from the treehouse fort toward the school. "Lock and Load!" He yells. He turns to Veteran. "I am goign to fire twice at them, and then flank around them and follow through with a hook so you can get a couple of clear shots, and mop them up. "Ok," He agrees and primes his weapon. Wetmonkey pulls the tank to within 10 meters of the troops. Well inside the tanks 200 foot range. At this range, these should hurt. He furiously pedals the charging lever back with his foot pedals. He stops the tanks, and swivels the turret around, and adjusts it one point up. he pops open the breech and slams in a fresh water balloon. He puts the breech cap back on, and reachs down. Wiht his hand he pulls back the firing pedal rod. A woosh of air, and the cannon's shaking report a succesful firing. He opens up the commander's hatch to survey the shot. One of the tempests is on the ground. "A direct hit!" He cries. One of the tempest is kneeling next to him getting him up, while the other is runnign towards the school. Wetmonkey pedals the charging lever back, and pops ina nother balloon.

I know. And what happened to your close to fainitng exhaustion. Besides, I said that veteran (who is in better shape than you are) would shoot out the rear. if you get out of the tank, chances are we might accidentally leave you behind.
