Water Wars - Main Character (read 1st post)
This would be the first part of a story that I am beginning to write. I am posting it here because I would like to have a story that most of Soakerdom could read and enjoy. Thanks in advance for your posts!
I also have the post at SSCentral and the Water Warfare Republic.
I am not sure which team to have the main character be on. Please help!
**Technological Foreword**
This story takes place in 2012. In 2006, Larami was able to purchase itself out of Hasbro and decided to re-issue the CPS line's best soakers, but with slight twists. These included:
A green-and-black CPS 2000 Mk. 1
A purple-and-brown CPS 2500
A camouflage CPS 1700 with K-mod
A camouflage CPS 3200 with advanced backpack
Also, they produced several new blasters that could rival almost any other soaker in existence.
The CPS 2000X was a heavily reinforced CPS 2000 that had the equivalent of a Colossus mod and check valve freeze. It also has a slightly larger reservoir.
The CPS 2200 was a K-modded 2100 that had an air pressure WBL using a pump to pressurize both PCs.
Although the OL-1 is not a soaker, it is an excellent device for long-range artillery bombardment. It is the same as the one mounted on the 2200. This can launch 25 1" water balloons every ten seconds. 1 min. = 150 balloons. A pressure chamber lasts for ten shots, and is pressurized with a pump.
**Prologue**
For several years, the children of Lemon Tree, Arkansas, every summer meant a battle of supremacy for the entire town. During these times of warfare, teams were both created and destroyed until only three remained. The were the Northern Empire, the Southeast Regime, and the Western Kingdom.
The Northern Empire was the first to have been established, and also held the most land. It had several CPS 2000Xs for their HWOs, twenty CPS 2200s for their artillery, and nearly a hundred Mk. 2 CPS 1700s. Their main fort was technologically advanced, and had several water gun turrets.
The Southeast Regime believed in only three weapons- the CPS 2000X, CPS 3200 Mk. 2, and OL-1. Their HWOs generally use the 2000X superbly, with a high accuracy. The rest of their infantry use the CPS 3200 Mk. 2 due to its large reservoir, range, and hitting power. Their artillery use the OL-1 due to its long range and "cluster bomb" capability. They also train elite Rangers that use Colossus-modded 3200.
Finally, the Western Kingdom strives to have the most diverse weapons, even owning some of the original CPS blasters. To date, they own CPS 1000, 1500, 1700 Mk. 1 + 2, 2000X, 2100, 2200, 2500 Mk. 2, 2700 3000, 3200 mk. 1 + 2, and OL-1. They also believe in modding guns. Their Elite Force, a team that included their best and brightest, uses K-modded 2200, 2700, and Colossused CPS 3200s. Their base has remote-control turrets with controls trough a laptop computer. Also, they built a water storage tank outside, holding fifty gallons of water for emergency situations.
P.S: The results from the other sites is:
Northern: 2
Southeast: 0
Western: 1

This should still be in the community forum, though. I'm not a mod, so I'll let one of them decide. As for my vote, I selected the Northern Empire because of their territorial advantage, their earlier establishment, the largest number of standard weapons, and a good main fort. Basically, they have a lot of room to fall back to and this allows for defensive warfare that lets them outlast everyone else.

I chose North, even though they have too much of an advantage and too big of an army. And what about Buzz Bee Toys? another gun that would be cool to add would be a 2100 with 2 cps chambers and an expanded resivoir. Also, why don't the teams have any light weaponry? Why doesn't North have any OL-1s? What about sidearms/ last resort weapons? What about qfd capable guns and monsters? Why do I ask all these questions?
Another thing is that I hate all the mass scale water wars, some small attack squads would be nice.

Farther down, I say that:
