My NEW Military! - We are new but strong.

My new military has a 12-year-old with a Flash Flood. a 12-year-old with an Overload, an 8-year-old with a Flash Flood, an 11-year-old possibly getting an Arctic Shock, and an 11-year-old who has a go-kart. Handheld WBLs will be mandatory. We will probably be outnumbered, outfirepowered, and outstrengthed but not outstrategied or outthought. Does anyone know anyways too make our team better?

The first thing to make your team better, would be to get yourself some heavier firepower. (If you think your team can carry it)

For the best guns, you'll either have to make them yourself or buy them off ebay.com
Just type "super soaker" into the search box and you'll get a nice selection of good guns. Use the Armory section to help decide which ones to buy.

The next thing will be to practice, and practice, and practice.
Work with your team both as one unit, flanking, ambushing, etc etc.
As-well as splitting your team in half and having practice skirmishes against each-other.

Tactical Theory includes ways to train. Of course I haven't had time to write anything about training. Basically, the best way to learn is to do. Hold plenty of skirmishes and treat them like wars rather than skirmishes.

Get the basic concepts and tactics of your era down before upgrading your weaponry. Your stage and team caliber determine what guns you want to use. More advanced teams in later stages want different things than less advanced teams in earlier stages. Likewise, less advanced teams in later stages want different things than more advanced teams in earlier stages. Basically, Tactical Theory can help make the best possible match of guns with teams. keep stage/era and caliber in mind when reading any reviews, since your own needs will often differ from the opinions and advice listed. Then again, you don't have to apply Tactical Theory here at all, but you'll regret that if you choose to learn theory after buying your guns.

I'd try to recruit older soldiers. They're faster and more powerful.

You definitely need more firepower. eBay is your friend. Also, tell your friend not to get an Arctic Shock. It's a piece of junk.

I meant something that you didn't have to drag along... and we ruled today they don't need to be necessary since the friend with the go-kart sold it and got a potato launcher we are going to weaken a little to shoot water balloons like a cannon. And there's a lot of people who would challenge us. We are geeks. I was thinking of the skirmish idea.

You probably shouldn't have needed to sell the go-kart in order to get a potato cannon! If you haven't already, read the Douchenator guide at Soaker Media, and I thank you Duxburian and NiborDude. It is extremely cheap and easy to build, and will perform well.

And that's all assuming you're not focusing on the weapons here. Why are you worrying about getting older people or about getting more weapons? It won't be as much fun for you guys if you have to "recruit" older people you don't really know and who might patronize you; and there's no need to budget for huge weapons.

Just have fun, get some fundamentals down, read the Tactical Theory thread for now (Kudos the Duxburian again), and just have fun again. That's really all that matters.

never assume, you jest make.... well thats what my mom always said. but as silent guy said, just have fun with it. if every one has a great time then you can count on more battles down the line.

Your friend did this without your knowlage?! Bad bad move. Had you told him about your plans for modifying the go-kart? So is this the end of your idea for an A.A.V. huh? From what you described of the vehicle, it was a very significant one and you shouldn't have had to sell that for just one potato cannon.

i always thought that go karts trump potato cannons. but unless its used as a troop transport, go carts are overrated and can easily be worked around. if your as serious about this as you say you are you guys should have no problem stepping up, evolving, and becomeing a better army.

I would have kept the go cart. A water balloon launcher can be built with as little is $30. Heck, you can earn $30 in a single day. That was a waste, IMO.

No need to bash Napoleon, though. It's not his fault, and I'm sure he feels like he missed out on the opportunity too. A slight misunderstanding, I guess. Sorry for implicating you.

@ DX: I thought they were even less than $30! Maybe if you already have the PVC.

Then again, go-karts are probably killing the environment. They strike me as very polluting, as they probably don't adhere to many (if any) emissions regulations.

@ WaterWolf : He knew about the plans and agreed to it but his parents made him sell it but he got a potato launcher. And it was gasoline.

@ SilentGuy : I did miss an opportunity. But we're gonna build one especially for our water fighting.
