Re: Best light CPS
You might want to add the vindicator to the list. I picked 21K since it is the only one I have used, and it is a good loaner because of the tracked pump.

Re: New Production of QFD Water Bases
1. I don't see any on ebay or amazon for sale. (Is this because there is no market?) 2. It's all in what you want to spend: $10 for an original QFD or $30 for one with a weighted base 3. 3D printers take forever. It's more time effective to have 1000 manufactured in China. 4. Is there any new water...

I was so close that I actually got a Drench and Blast on sunday. My target never had C2s at all this year.

Re: New Production of QFD Water Bases
I also have access to a 3D printer so I might be able to test the design. The standard QFD can probably also fill monsters if you are careful. Why not just make the base larger to prevent tipping so you do not have to fill it with water? Also, if you have a 3D printer, why do you need to ship it to ...

The trigger is now fixed with some devcon and 2 metal wires: http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a536/darthmeow6/IMG_2650_zpsccebfa3e.jpg I also took some shot pics now that it is repaired: http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a536/darthmeow6/f64575bd-06c3-4d82-8ad2-580f381b38cf_zps0328c891.jpg http:...

Re: 1-3-5 internals and modding
I plan on using this for close range soakfests, so range is not a problem. I think that you probably need to get rid of the whole nozzle assembly to get maximum power. By the way, this thing can tap shoot really fast if you are firing the center nozzle, since you only have to pull the trigger a tiny...

1-3-5 internals and modding
The trigger on my 1-3-5 snapped off today. I think that the heavy trigger spring may have something to do with the problem. The trigger on my 1-3-5 only has to be pulled about 1/4 of an inch to fire the center nozzle, but it has to be pulled very hard to fire the other nozzles. The (broken) trigger:...

Re: Monster XL minimization
You could just glue the trigger/pump to the base. Does it still have both PCs or did you remove one? If you removed one, you could minimize it even more. I would keep both though, that will really improve shot time. Epoxy putty should work well for mounting the trigger/pump.

Re: Battle of the guns
I had one (I broke it), and they are able to hit 40 feet and 5X, but they require a ton of pumping once the reservoir is about half full. Its the CPS 2000 of PR's, as it has the best range and output of any PR, but the shot time (and number of pumps to fire a tap shot on the larger nozzle or both no...

Re: Duxburian's HUGE sale of CHEAP guns!
Hi DX,
I was wondering if my PM did not reach you. I am interested in buying one of your 3200s and the Blorca, if you are still selling either one. I might be interested in buying a Colossus if you are not selling the Blorca. Can you please PM me with what price you want for them?
Thanks,
Darthmeow

Re: If You Were A Video Game Character
Actually the ability that I would really want would be an RC plane with a water gun on it. The problem is that it would have to be pretty big to carry the gun, and the other problem is the trees. Most the wars we have are in the woods, I'm a pretty top notch pilot but even with a camera mounted to ...

Re: If You Were A Video Game Character
Seriously? People fly planes into each other to try and get them to crash? I have seen remote controlled battleships that fire steel pellets and try to sink each other, but this sounds crazy. On topic, I can see super speed/slow motion working. Ever seen someone doing a speed hack on a game like Co...

Re: If You Were A Video Game Character
A scratchbuilt RC plane can be made rather cheaply if you only use good parts where they are needed, and go cheap on say the airframe and motor, but get really responsive servos and a nice reciever. Remember that some people do that combat fliying and try to send each other's planes into the ground...

Re: Latest happenings
Is the nozzle selector able to handle 3-5X firing one nozzle? I have access to a 3D printer, so I might be able to eventually make some nozzle designs. In the meantime, I might glue PVC threaded fittings onto all 5 and drill the center, like soakinader said. I could then put caps on the 4 fan nozzle...

Re: Latest happenings
I will drill the center nozzle, and maybe make removable caps for the other 4. I want to be able to get 3-4X from the center and fire the fan nozzles too if possible. Did you know you can pump while shooting this thing on one nozzle and fire constantly until the reservoir runs out?

Looks like a CPS 1-3-5 MK2 in mint condition.
Thanks for posting those links- I was able to get the 1-3-5.
