Ben, hope Super Soaker Central will be back up soon. Maybe this time could be used to add water talk to the archives I have been thinking much of the same for the past few minutes after hearing back from my host. It won't take long to make an archive. I made a test board and deleted some members an...

Nothing was said at all about next year's Super Soakers or if Lonnie still has anything to do with Hasbro. All that was really said was the Lonnie was one of the most successful inventors and that he invented the Super Soaker. What is more interesting is the clips of him talking. This also reminds ...

I skimmed through my copy and saw all the parts with Lonnie. In the show, the contestants had a contest to win a short consultation session with Lonnie. I believe it was the classic "drop the egg without breaking it" problem they had to win. There also was a shot with him shooting a MXL earlier in ...

Sorry about the double post but if that were true the person with the bigger gun and better gun would win all the time. (thus creating the bigger is better media steriotype) Witch is why everyone thinks the monster XL is the best gun ever, my friend even thought that untill i told him about the cps...

Get some pictures, please. I very highly doubt that there's a way to fix this without opening the water gun up. There could be some damage to the part the trigger slides on, which may have caused the falling off. I haven't heard any trouble with opening up Super Soaker CPS 4100s, but if you are hav...

I too never understood what was so great about water balloons or water balloon launchers. To me, there's not a single advantage. Sure, they can get improved range, but we're all not professional football players here - accuracy is a big issue. And don't go try to convert me or something... I've bui...

Welcome to iSoaker.com!

You should be able to find a similar washer and screw at a home improvement or hardware store. Bring the gun there to test out a bunch of screws and washers. If they ask, just tell them that you're fixing your water gun and suggest a few websites to visit.

All 20 people are independent. 10 will get XP 150s ($18), 8 would get SC 600s ($16) and two would get WW Lightnings ($10). That would leave $2 unspent, given that there's no sales tax. I choose these guns because they are small, relatively cheap and very good. Shot time was the biggest factor in ch...

Maybe you could buy a second Blazer and take second rubber disks from each PC and put them in the old PC? Might seem too powerful though. I also doubt they'd fit, but for someone with two Blazers it might be worth investigating.

Well, performance has no correlation with how "good" something looks! I think they look great - they're usually very bare and lighter because of that.

I agree with emperor_james very much on this idea.

More information is available on a design like this at Super Soaker Central: Detatchable PC for homemade water guns

Much better than my idea :) I guess I just have to design a good CPS model that looks good and works well. Lets see...4 CPS Chambers...or 6? As soon as I can get down to Lowes and Walmart, I'll have the design and product finished in my head. A little paint, and it should look great. Bike Inner tub...

Big burst = poorly laminated stream usually The riotblast on my first APH is way better than any "shotgun blast" I have tried on several water guns (such as CPS 2700, Monster, XP 150). It's far bigger and far wider. I usually use it to drench groups of people due to the actual amount of water invol...

Yes, in fact, most homemade water guns have a shotgun/riotblast type feature far more powerful than any other water gun's.

There definately is a difference in opinion when parents see their kid building the soakers. My parents are very impressed with the homemades and show them to guests when they are at the house! This is very true. I've already done several public demostrations and have brought mine over to relatives...

Why don't you ask to make a homemade water gun instead? Tell them it's educational (afterall, it is an educational experience). My parents themselves tell me I have enough water guns (though that doesn't really stop me from getting new ones) but they can't argue with the homemade water gun idea. If...

I've got better than just labling the nozzle: my Super Soaker CPS 2700 has a modified nozzle with a handle to make rotation easier. The nozzles are also labled, but I can tell what nozzle it is on from a quick glance at the position of the handle most of the time. I love how you used a sponge for t...
