Darts may be safer than explosives, but can you imagine if you aimed a little too low? "AAAHHH! MY EYE!" The most reliable trap I've used so far is the simple: "Throw a string over a tree branch and tie a balloon to it" method. You can even use massive party size balloons for this type, which will ...

Yes, and though I hadn't seen that particular article, that is the pressure that I had been going to suggest people should charge theirs to. 130 would be the maximum I would want to use them at.

Well, that would depend on which of the guns has any water in them.

Reminds me of this comic.

Still, considering how it will first appear in peoples minds, I'd say thats a pretty sweet avatar.

Fine. Use whatever canister you want. The point is the system of air-batteries, which could allow certain homemades to become much more battle-practical on the field. In future, I would prefer it if you would send constructive comments to my topics. It seems like what I'm more often receiving from ...

The problem with a PVC solution is that it weighs a lot more, is difficult to get air-tight and more expensive. Plus, should it fail, the shrapnel would be much more dangerous. As for paint-ball tanks, the volume is simply too low and they ARE quite expensive. You would also need an extremely power...

I'm not sure if you read the entire post properly, I said that: "In an end model of the bottle air-canister, I would have a chicken wire cage or cloth sock surrounding it, to prevent any shrapnel from flying out." What kinds of findings are you asking for? More durability tests? I did conduct a sec...

Back from the abyss, I have several items to contribute to the water-warfare community, these new systems and weapons will be slowly dropped one by one into the forums, to allow proper digestion by the people here. IMPORTANT, READ THIS FIRST! Note that you, the builder and user of any of these assu...

Ouch. Seems like Hasbro tired to go for for the big guns again but just ended up making a big mess. It seems like it takes an exceptional effort to mess up something that simple so badly. They tried to build in too many special features and missed out on real power or range.

Trebuchets would be far too bulky and inaccurate to be of much practical use. I'd rather build several of my new PGL-Rifles (Of-which I just finished my first one this week), rather than spend the money on something that is practically immobile and is unlikely to hit its target.

So with the party balloon idea, how much of the water sprays upwards? Rather than just soaking the targets foot.

It would seem that Waterbridge is learning how to counter some of your more advanced ideas. This year may not be so easy for your team to dominate the field.

Hm, it sort of reminds me of a Sneak-Attack, but with more forwards nozzles and with a shield attached.

How do you think the Solenoid valve does range-wise when compared to a ball-valve?

Hmm, ten seconds is the reload time that I have calculated for mine as-well, except that mine would be getting 4 to 5 shots with that speed. If I could integrate your breech loading into my design, the rate of fire would be even higher. I have the gun all assembled, I just need an air-regulator and...

MUST... GET... Blueprints for that breach-loader. Looks awesome, if a bit bulky. What kind of ranges are you getting and how much did it cost to build? My own WBL design is nearing completion. The Tactical-PGL as I call it, uses a CAP system that has never been seen before in WBLs and is built to b...

Sweet pics. Its good to see Hasbro is starting to use the space inside the casing more efficiently, rather than having large areas of empty air inside. It looks like my theory about the burst shot system was correct too. They have a mini CPS-PC that the main PC fills and is then emptied in one burs...

1. What do we wear? My team tends to ware surplus military camo, which is cheap if you know where to get it. Its great for repelling thorns/branches, dries out fairly quickly and of corse, works well for camouflage. 2. What to buy? Buzz-Bee guns can be fairly cheap and are pretty good. 3. What to c...
