I did something very similar with a Nerf gun. It's a Lanard Blast Bazooka. It got about 20-30 ft. of range, and a ten foot spread, but it was only kike an ounce of water...

I can't wait to see it done!

Perhaps in a future reincarnation, the Douchenator could use a pressure regulator, like ones found in the CAP system.

Just a note, is that water tube leading to the nozzle supposed to be black? If not, it's probably sludge.

Unfortunately, I think Hasbro has the rights to Spherical and CPS bladders, don't they? Don't Water Warriors use rubber diaphragms?

@Silent Guy: I think C-A_99 is trying to describe a fast-action gate valve. My design would be very similar to the Splashzooka, except with a few changes. The PC would be signifigantly smaller. It would have a high-capacity bacpack (at least two gallons), and it would also have a nozzle selector. I...

Max-D 6000's have made their way to the internet! Check it out here.

EDIT: Shoot. Just saw that this has already been pointed out on WWc. Well, at least it's on iSoaker now. :bm1000:

50 ft? Not bad!

Does anybody know if you can take off that ornamental purple thing on the 2700 without it being permanently removed? I think it looks better without it, but I'm hoping it can be taken off by unscrewing it, so I can put it back on.

Depends on what size balloon you use. If you buy packs with smaller balloons about 2" long (usually found at places like Dollar General, Five Below, or on a side rack at Food Lion :;): ) it'll fit fine. They're small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. They're a little smaller than this. This i...

That's probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. :p

I like how it remained a sphere of water until broke on his head. I liked the water wall, too.

The begining was kind of funny. The anticipation was killer.

Great find! Could you post a link? @SilentGuy: I know how it is with parents. The whole "It's just a squirt gun" thing, right? I had a lot of trouble getting the 2700, but I managed to convince them to let me have it. Thanks for the warning. I won't attempt it. But I was ratherdisappointed by the i...

That really stinks, SilentGuy. What kind of arsenal do you have? If you have a good one, it really doesn't matter. If you find yourself lacking good guns, maybe you could have a local friend who does have parental permission buy it for you. Anyways, I don't think I will be modding this gun. Not tha...

Score! I just won a CPS 2700 brand new in box for $25 and $13.45 shipping! The gun itself was below original price, too. Sadly, I don't think I'll be getting it for almost three weeks, but that's no big deal. Sorry for reviving an old thread, but it's better than starting a new one (which I almost ...

Sorry for reviving a dead topic, but I just got one of these today at K-Mart for $6 on the clearance rack (I also saw a Splat Blaster for $5 but decided not to get it, besides, we were just leaving when I saw it). Anyways, I decided to play with it and noticed that this thing doesn't need 50 pumps,...

Except the MI reservoir caps are extermely large, and threaded backwards. Great job! However, I would definitely try to fix the 1000's internals. That, or redo some of it with PVC. I think the gun looks pretty cool. It would look better with purple ducktape, though. :p I was also entertained by the...

Oh, that. I know what that is. Went braindead for a moment.

Yeah, for the cost of four Flash Floods, you could probably get a CPS 2000, which can own those FFs any day of the wwek without even getting close.

I'd try to recruit older soldiers. They're faster and more powerful.

You definitely need more firepower. eBay is your friend. Also, tell your friend not to get an Arctic Shock. It's a piece of junk.

And what on earth is a handheld WBL?

Vehicles + Water = Bad. It's just asking for someone to get hurt.

And anything large enough to be used as a turret is probably to nice of a gun to mount, since you will probably damage it. If you really must have a turret, make a homemade. It's probably cheaper, and more effective.

This is the Hasbro age. They don't sell anything longer than about two feet :p The Krypton is supposed to be pretty big. I don't know why you care so much about size--performance is what really counts. The Storm 750 is a great gun for its size, as is the Argon. Then again, "Guns don't win wars. Use...

You think the FF is heavy? You need to try a Monster X/XL. That's heavy. :p Also, the Flash Flood blast actually gets farther range than the normal stream. The FF is a mediocre gun compared to older ones, but It's probably the best of the new ones (except, perhaps, the Blazer). I like it for its fe...
