Re: If you only had One

Well let me see. A CPS 1500 sized (currently my favourite 'large blaster') with a 2L separated pre-pressurised air/water PC (with a larger airspace than water space for reduced range drop-off), with the PC located directly above the pistol grip for better balance. A semi-tracked pump fed by a 10L ba...

And that SC1 didn't have a piston separating the air and water, so when you fired it at too shallow an angle, only air came out!

A small strip of metal should make the repair more rigid.

You can get vinyl patches with valves, or thread on Boston valves for inflatable boats. You just need the right adhesive, or some way of fitting the nut inside the bag.

Re: WTB: CPS 2000 MK1 BOX for $1,500

Id say legit (remember this thread anyone???). I'm guessing you've got yourself a new CPS 2000 (as the previous offer was $1,600 for both I'm assuming you got one for ~$100?) and now want a matching box. Unfortunately I can't help, other than by saying you should be able to get one for less than tha...

+1 for hydration pack. Can be expensive compared to solar showers, but worth it for ease of carrying.

At least you shouldn't have any problems with pump lag due to a small check valve!

Generally, any kind of spray will have some form of petroleum product as propellant. Just something else to bear in mind.

Re: PoP Nozzle.

If the connector you mention is what I think it is, a female quick connect and a waterstop connector with a short length of hose connecting them might work. You may have to enlarge the inside of the waterstop connector to fit over the QFD 'nozzle', and this will need to be done carefully to keep the...

Re: Adjusting the iSoaker.com Rating System

Actually, scratch that, what I'm more interested in is how many pumps it take to completely fill the PC, (for CPS) or for air pressure chambers, until it get hard to pump, and also how many full shots it takes to empty the reservoir. You can just divide the PC capacity by the pump volume (I think t...

Re: My new CPS system (Almost Done!!!)

I realized this is the QFD of homemades, I didn't realize this before. Anyways, that is one of my nozzles. Pictures are to come soon! They do work very well as QFD's especially with a waterstop connector. They also work extremely well as nozzles if you get one with a smooth change in internal diame...

Re: The Life of Captain Xerxes

The PRV could just be REALLY stiff from never being opened, unless something is jamming it. Doesn't really matter if you're reinforcing it. Keep in mind that if you can't physically generate any more pressure with the pump as it is now, then you won't be able to generate any more pressure with loads...

Re: Make a pump for the Xxp 175

I got one o-ring to seal pretty well. The pump rod hugged the walls of the pump, so it doesn't get mis-aligned and let water through that way. The o-ring is as tight as hell as well. It needed vast quantities of vaseline to fit it into the pump pipe, but it works pretty well now. Very smooth too!

Isn't that thin extra tube between the pump and the PC's a pressure relief valve? :goofy:
