Re: Spring Water War

Why do you guys have to keep coming up with wars that are so tempting? :goofy: Once again, I am one of the closest, but probably have the least chance of attending. Though the battlefield looks really nice and I might have to pull for this over Downpour if I get the chance to go to this one. And tra...

Re: PSI of bottles?

Some on here are strongly against soda bottles (I believe SSC Ben is) and make valid points. They are not always reliable and can create dangerous shrapnel if they fail. You should take some sort of precaution to keep them from failing. It is generally considered true that name brand soda bottles wi...

I really have to get to at least one of these next year. I know I said that this year as well, but part of the problem was that two roadtrips prevented me from going to the closest one, Downpour. So here's hoping it works out this year.

Coincidences are fun. My spanish class just learned several words related to sports, nadar included.

Though if you saw a sign that said no nadar, that is prety funny. (NO TO SWIM!)

Re: WTB: CPS 2000 MK1 BOX for $1,500

Well, quite obviously, one used to have a mk 1 in it, the other had a mk 2. :goofy:

Seriously though, I am also intrigued as to whether the boxes were at all aestetically different.

Re: Airborne Soaking

RC planes are either too loud or too slugish to be effective for more than a single pass. A maneverable plane won't glide, especially with extra weight, and will be heard frum hundreds of feet away. A plane that could get good altitude and then just glide in to suprise attack the enemy could work, b...

You know, I kind of miss the unrealisticly straight streams from older comic stips on the CPS guns.

Also, do I smell a bit of you making fun of some of these recent wars as well?

Hilarious, as always.

I have always wanted to have a round with some sort of shieds involved, but balancing would be tricky. It would also help if I got a few rounds in at all.

When did I get dragged into this? :goofy: I will be in school until early June, so if you want to battle me, It will have to be a weekend. I would have to talk to the parents, but while I don't think they would like to give our adress to strangers, ther are some epic gamelands around here. The bigge...

Re: Check Valve Replacement

The strain on the pipes of a CPS gun also cannot possibly be constant. If you pump a heavily K-modded gun up once, it's not very dangerous. If you pump it up 14 times, a pipe can explode. Could this be due to the fact that one pump is not able to push a pipe far enough or it to fail? Explosive fail...

Re: PC for Ye PoP Nozzle?

Air will get you the maximum possible from your hose. Of course, so would a spring, but good luck getting it to seal.

Also, why could this not be in the other thread? Not a huge problem every now and again, but having multiple threads for one thing gets rather annoying.

Re: PoP Nozzle.

A quick note, a hose will not fill a 144 balloon PC. This is why the powerpack and spashzooka were hailed for their shot time, but were never considered to have good range. Some of the Monsters were even worse.

Re: Check Valve Replacement

I seem to remember GJiv doing this at one point. (of course of anyone it was him :goofy: ) On his 1500 perhaps? I do not remember what he did though. He hasn't been around much lately, but a PM might get his attention. If you replaced the check valve, what would you replace it with? A valve from McM...
