Re: Anyone know this blaster?
I have a vague memory of such a blaster, but I really don't believe it was under the "Super Soaker" brand name. I'm guessing it was either Banzai, Lanard/X-stream, or some other smaller brand which may no longer be in existence. Will try to do a little more digging. Edit: Perhaps a bigger ver...

Re: Water Warriors Charger
I haven't spent too much time with my Charger, but whenever I've used it I haven't been able to empty the pressure chamber after use. I assume this is because of the intake tube not reaching all the way to the back. Even when I fire straight up it does not empty. I don't like leaving water in it, b...

Buzz Bee Toys Inc finally has official Facebook presence!
While I'm still not keen on the whole Social Media world, it's nice to see them entering the space.

Re: Pegboards
Pegboards are great for displaying things and for quick-access, but are, as Duxburian notes, very inefficient. Pegged blasters are also much more exposed to bugs, dust, etc. Makes sense for frequently-used blasters, but not for long-term storage.

Re: Soakin' Everywhere
Did you remove the link because of the picture that's on there now, or because of possible later content? I didn't think the picture you had there was even remotely suggestive. I opted to remove the link to avoid needing to worry about whether any content on those pages may be considered a little m...

Re: Soakin' Everywhere
For what it's worth, had I considered anything inappropriate for my site, I wouldn't have created it, let alone post it. However, these forums are something else and it is difficult to determine what is or is not potentially offensive to another member. My general rule on forum content is if I think...

Re: Soakemore 2014 - SEAL's War Report
Wow! Long write up! Thanks for posting this; would love to go to a community war one day as they definitely sound like a blast, but don't think it'd be possible any time soon. You guys have done a great job at organizing and reporting on these!

Re: X2O Water Blasters
If I find one at a thrift store for $4.99 or less, I will pick it up just to investigate, but they don't look worth the sticker price. Hah - I wouldn't expect any sane member here to drop full retail price on one of these. :goofy: I was more curious whether anyone has seen anyone else using these o...

X2O Water Blasters
I've seen these X2O-brand blasters, but have opted not to get any of the items just yet. Anyone here actually seen one in action?

Re: Soakin' Everywhere
marauder has a point; I've wiped the links from here and will opt to not post any updated regarding those pages here since I can make no guarantee about potential content, though I will work on evening things out a little more. Most of what is already up has been so for years...

There's no "supposed to". It's more of, "if you are interested, those type of images would be added there."martianshark wrote:So we're supposed to make images as well?

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
Holy capdragons. I never would have guessed that with the fake electronic pressure gauge that this thing would be Hydro Power. Very cool, congrats! In particular, the air that comes out of the hole for the PC should smell strongly like rubber. Kind of a sickly sweet smell. The smell of raw power. A...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
@Splatterpunk: if there's a hole in the top and, particularly, if you feel some air coming out when you pump up the PC, it's Hydro Power. Let's face it, you can't build up air-pressure with a hole in the chamber.

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
@ Splatterpunk: nice find! Check the top of the PC for a hole. If there's a hole, it's Hydro Power. If there isn't a hole, it is more likely air pressure. Of course, opening it up would confirm things.
