As always, our reviews have lists of possible Super Soaker modifications. Please read our Water Warriors Blazer water gun review for a list of Blazer compatible modifications. While not complete because modifications such as nozzle drilling, greasing, check valve freezing, etc. can be performed on ...

I am confused as to what you are referring to. From what I know, the more expensive regulators don't use a ball valve. I intend on using a ball valve as a "bypass" for full force however. That will be next to the regulator. Is that what you meant? That ball valve will either be completely open or c...

On my website, there is an article on Super Soaker Prices. It says that typically a Super Soaker 50 sells for $20 - 35.

If Power levels are fixed and you want a soaker to fire farther, you'll need to reduce Output and adjust Acceleration (though, in some respects, Output and acceleration affect each other so things are a little more complex to work out). Soaker builders also know that stream lamination/consistency a...

The earliest I have seen a water gun in a store was January. If you are set on finding the new water guns early, ask the person at the counter if they have any water guns in the back. I've had success finding some water guns that way, though I am unsure how early they keep the water guns in stock. ...

I agree on that, we need more efficient designs, maybe it's possible to write a computer program that would be able to calculate the most efficient set up... Why would I do that when I already know? Seems like a wasted effort to me. Besides, that would be an enormous task. If you want to do that, g...

I still think if we used pipe rated for 200PSI that someone could use an air compressor and get into the 90's at least. My latest homemade's pipe is rated for 220 PSI. Both of my compressor don't go that high. Most people won't be able to afford compressors that can go that high. Hand pumps would b...

I'm thinking the next homemade water gun from me could come within a few weeks. I need to buy some parts, do some design work, and write some articles for my redesign. Of course, you'll hear from me first on every single forum, that way you don't miss a thing no matter which one you keep up ...

That may happen sooner than you think. Ben's next homemade probably reach the 90's, and a 80 ballon k-mod 11k with a nozzle mod could reach the 80's. :soakon: A distance of 90 feet would be neat, but it's not going to happen any time soon. You can't just add 30 to 40 feet of distance like that. The...

Yesterday and today I conducted some tests of the "completed" cannon. From these tests, it is obvious that I am not complete yet. Power is good, in fact, I would say without any doubt that this is the most powerful water gun I have shot yet. However, reliability is not very good. The back-loading s...

Some updated from SoakerMedia: 11/14/05 Pressurization is done through a special nozzle. I've added some extra pressure to my APH's before with a small piece like this. My WBL is pressurized using a similar method, though it's not a nozzle (but can be removed similarly). I choose this method of pre...

The pictures give you a very poor view of the water gun. Seeing one carrying this water gun is simply frightening because the gun is only maybe a foot shorter than the guy who's carrying it. Duxburian is also completely correct about carrying this. You would think that carrying would be awkward, bu...

Adding these posts in a log format might help generate some interest in this water gun! To me, this is one of the most important homemade water guns made in a long time, at least to me. 10/10/05 Yesterday I finished up the two most important parts of this design: the special nozzle that must be att...

I don't see any value in the argument that people are in a "rush for power, because they don't have the skill to win any other way", at least at this forum. That's quite a generalization there, though I would say that it's true for the vast majority of water gun users. You fail to realize however t...

Of course I realize that someone else will try to beat me! And they should try! I welcome any competition. I would not make this a stationary gun for several reasons: 1) Making a stand or adapting this water gun to use a tripod would require more money than I am willing to use on this project. 2) M...

This morning after looking through the boxes in my workshop, I've decided to make the most powerful water gun we've seen yet. Of course, I do plan on not making it perfect by anyone's standards, just designed purely for performance and made from very common and cheap parts. There would be no fun if...

If you shoot anything in the face it will cause problems. If you miss with your toothbrush and hit your eyes it won't be good. I agree, everything is dangerous, but by large water guns are not dangerous. They don't even shoot a solid projectile. If that was Nerf or something else, that kid would be...

For the record, the only way I've seen someone get hurt by a water gun had nothing to do with the stream: they hit the kid with their water gun! That will always be a problem unless water guns are made out of foam in the near future. It's hard if not impossible to make a battle-practical water gun ...
