Re: Airborne Soaking

Been playing around with it these last few days. It's fun to fly, but, as you'd expect, it barely holds any water. I tried watering the plants with it, but I kinda missed...

I need to get better at flying this thing...

Re: CPS Goodies for Sale

I'm from Oakville (not there now, but will be back by the 20th), so I feel like I should make an offer on something for convenience, but it looks like everyone's got dibs on the most interesting soakers  :goofy:

Re: Airborne Soaking

From a soaker enthusiast's perspective, it's definitely not even close to worth the $60 I shelled out ($40+$20 shipping), but it does seem like a fun thing to have. It kind of offends my moral beliefs though because it uses the words "water cannon"

Re: Airborne Soaking

Cropduster, dude. Though a water balloon carpet bombing would be cool too. The only trouble is, there's absolutely no way that you'd be able to defeat something like that. :goofy: Soaker tags :goofy: I've always been into the idea of RC vehicles in battles. Not necessarily for soaking, like SEAL sa...

I kinda want one! Oh man that'd be fun :baby:

For real soaking, if someone has a pilot's license and an actual plane/helicopter, just load it up with water balloons and do an air strike!

Re: Need tips for fighting when outsoaked

You have nothing to worry about, you've got the range advantage, you've got the mobility advantage, and let's face it, you're talking to us so you've also got the tactics advantage :D He'll try to press forward and shoot a lot. You can keep him away with quick tap shots, that probably won't hit him ...

Dude, you can still sell it, to steal a Big Bang Theory joke, just sell it as slightly used.

Re: iSoak'D 080: Not Old

Let me put it this way, I just turned 20, and now I have to help my slightly-younger friends "survive" also turning 20. Like, I actually sit there and tell them that everything'll be okay, no need for panic, I was freaked out too until after my birthday, etc. Then I take a moment to think about how ...

Yeah, shouldn't be too much of a problem, it'd straighten out once it fills up.

Re: Car Tire CPS PCs?

That's if it actually works; I don't know how you could get around the circular shape.
You can just chop it and close one end up, no problem there.

It could work, I don't know enough about the elasticity of the material, but at worst I'd just fear for its durability.

Re: XP 110 (with a hundred and ten problems)

My quick recommendation is to do what you've already done, but more. Plumber's epoxy on every joint and hope that seals up better, then multiple rubber bands on that firing pin (one does nothing unless you double or triple it up and it's thick to begin with). As for check valves, from my experience,...

Re: XP 110 (with a hundred and ten problems)

110 is probably my second favourite soaker of all time, so it pains me to think that someone would have to replace it. I'm in class now, so I can't help too much, but please keep us updated.

Also, mainly because I have the song stuck in my head (will be using it for an audition later tonight), but the thread title immediately reminded me of this and I laughed a fair bit.

Re: What Is This?!?

Plus it's hooked up to a hose, they may have modded the internals so it's purely hose-powered. Can't really say without seeing a full shot (SEAL's suggestion is very likely too)

Re: Portable Electronic Water Sensors

Thinking very far ahead here, but it would be pretty cool (for a huge game size, totally useless for anything relatively small) to have the sensor send out a signal to a central computer, ie notifying the head organizer that a player has been hit. There's a lot that can be done with that, but of cou...
