Re: If You Were A Video Game Character

It's hard to think of something realistic that I'd have. Probably magical attacks. You know, summon up rain clouds, tidal waves, strong winds, etc.

Hard to say for sure though, magic is unpredictable at best.

Re: If you only had One

Well, to this day, my favourite blaster that I've used has been the WW Lightning, so I suppose a modded version of that is what I want, and I'll just describe what I was after when I modded mine. Reservoir volume doesn't need to be high, I can do with <1.5L (Lightning has like 1.2 and that was just ...

Re: large team loadouts

It would likely depend on broadly what my role within the team is. Also, I'm assuming each person supplies his own refill water in this battle? Generally I like to travel pretty light, don't like backpacks very much, not that interested in sidearms. I'd probably take a mid-CPS/big-WW, some empty wat...

Re: Team Size versus Skill

My opinion is that skill level matters to an extent, but not completely. So if we've got experienced players mixed with first-timers, then I'd want to make sure there's an even mix in each team. However, if everyone's got at least a little bit of skill, then in my experience team chemistry starts to...

Re: Lonnie Johnson Sues Hasbro

It is possible to start up a lawsuit for low quality products, it's been done before anyway. Why do I know this? Apparently class is helpful after all.

Not sure how it would work in this case, but a clever lawyer can make anything happen.

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster

I tried doing a PC replacement on it, made a whole new PC out of like 40 or 50 balloons, and I suppose one of the balloons tore off and got sucked into the internals (that's my guess). Every summer I say I'll fix it, and every summer I get caught up doing something else, so we'll see if it ever gets...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster

Oh my jeezus soakinader, that is just incredible. I live near a VV but never had any luck with it, maybe more frequent visits are in order (I worked literally right next door to one over the summer, paid them a couple of visits during lunch breaks, no dice). You, my friend, have mastered this art. A...

Re: Shields and melee weapons - yes or no?

Being the huge LotR fan that I am, I've thought many times about melee weapons and how awesome they would be. I haven't yet thought of a way to make them worth it, but if one day there is a mechanism that allows them to dish out enough water without hurting someone, I don't see any reason to ban the...

Re: Which Performance Mods have YOU done?

Does the end result HAVE to be an improvement in performance? Cause then I lose a lot of my stories :P Successful mods: -K-mod on a 1200 -Crappy (but still successful) colossus on a Flash Flood -PC capacity enhancements on said Flash Flood -Nozzle drills on a few blasters -PC swap between a Blazer a...

Re: what is battle practicality

Yes, I agree, I'm not helping a less experienced user. I just wanted to go to the other extreme as even I was getting lost in the overly thorough breakdowns of soaker attributes (doesn't help that I tend to read these things well after midnight when I'm already half asleep :P).

Re: Hydrocannon

I felt like bumping this thread. I haven't done any work, the blaster is still in cozy hibernation next to my 2700, but I figured it'd be nice to have this thread as a bit of motivation to get me working next week. Send me your good thoughts and maybe I'll have a couple of new blasters rise from the...

Re: what is battle practicality

My definition is less complicated but a lot more open-ended. It's simply: how well can you use this blaster in a given game? Because really, sometimes you perform better with something that shouldn't make sense. For example, my XP 110 compared to a mid-sized CPS rifle. About the same size and weight...

Re: New Water Warriors - Colossus 2

Internal pics; nice! Side question: tools in the car, I understand, but why are you opening the blaster in your car? :goofy: Looks like the Colossus 2's PC is a little smaller than the original Colossus. Otherwise, nice clean layout. How does it perform? Long boring drive maybe? If you thoug...

Re: Your Ideal Team

10 XP 215s, done and done. Bow to my might. Now, let me try to do this seriously: Of course, I have to take personal preference out of this and make the assumption that all players do just as well with whatever blaster they're given (actually not true for me, gimme a WW Lightning or XP 110 and I'll ...

1: What does? How about all of the Kryptons, EES Turbines, Shot Blasts, Bottle Blitz and other no-name crapola I didn't buy? Not to mention the Thunderstorms and Electrostorms everyone at the VAW had. I don't appreciate the EES Turbine sideswipe! Dat ain't gon' fly up in here! Also, I've always bee...

Range may be able to hit 10' on a good day. As for output, think of it this way: you fill the reservoir with a dropper, and it takes a good 10 seconds of holding the trigger down to empty it.
