I would think the hornet, as it is a small gun, and can be easily hidden, it would make a good sidearm. The Flash Flood is mainly a primary, unless you get a CPS 2000 or CPS 3000/3200. The Arctic shock is just a waste of money, as most people say, because with the Flash Flood, you can just put ice ...

I think a normal CPH or APH would be better than buying a Hydra Pak, taking it apart, and finding some way to get it all together in to one piece/ not pistol sized, more like CPS 2000 sized... I would prefer the APH with riot blast over the 20x of a modded hydra pak.

It could be, if you were wanting to mod it later. One thing you can do to "K-mod" the blazer is take inner tubes, and cut a slit in one side. Then layer the inner tubes over the hydro power sheet or whatever it is.

It depends on if the shield is mounted, or if you make a good enough shield with clips for your backup. Only a few times have I ever used a shield, but I didn't like the idea
The shield was just a plastic chair that i hid behind- sort of like a mini bunker

That is interesting, but it would give you one hell of a kick if you were the one shooting it, as LRT expands 850% its normal volume. On sscentral, it is recommended that you replace the bladder cover with PVC if you do that.

Someone I know has a problem with a pre-charger that i thought I might warn you about. The pre-charge button can stick to the casing if anything gets into it, so keep that part away from grass etc., as it will probably just stick in.

Stencil wrote:You want the PC and LRT don't you?
All I wanted was the PC, so that I would not have to spend money on LRT, as it can be pretty expensive, and mr.dude told me I would need 2 different sizes of LRT to equal the width of the CPS 2000 bladder.

I was in a small get together with my next dorr neighbours, and i let them use my Hydra pak, which i think was too heavy for them (200 oz.s can be quite heavy, never use the backpack on bare skin- It hurts like hell). One of them had an Argon, but it was broken =P The precharger was stuck in though...

Good job on your first battle report! As i have not been in many water wars that i could possibly report on, just old ones that i have vague memories about. Looks like Deven (socakid) was about to get owned by you guys.

@supersoaker- dont post the same thing twice. It could annoy some people
The gun was probably intended for slightly older people than most other WW guns though.

That would be awesome, but as most people are not old enough to participate in these wars, we will have to wait for a while for them to come to us in a few years

It should, considering how you just need a drill or something similar to it, so that you can just drill out the screen and the extra bits. I am also wondering, can this be done to another gun, say a CPS 2000?

The reason why they have it with short range and short shot time is they want it to sort of imitate a real shotgun (not colourwise, of course), in that it needs one pump, and it looks like it spreads, and shotguns have poor range, so they made this have poor range too.

If you read the article about taking apart a Max-D 6000, it is about the same, unless the thing is like my Hydroblades, which would then mean you have to saw it off. I would recommend trying the former of the two first though (just don't pull so hard that you break the plastic)

I have a Mk1 but the trigger and the trigger valve are busted. if the trigger & mechanism are broken on yours, then its worthless Mine just needs some LRT or other flexible tubing, because the PC has a tear in it. I could use an Mk1 PC (another one) so that i could fix it EDIT: Stencil, could you m...

well, i meant that you were right about the part of the keeping the gun pistol sized. Would a 5 year old hold a CPS 2000, a heavy rifle with ease? They made it have the backpack so that little kids could carry the gun around
