Hmm.. Seems that I was right when I said the lever was a piston pump. It seems everyone else was right when they said it was a normal pump, too. Drat. That has got to be the worst design I have ever seen. Well, I'm going to take a wild guess and say that little orange knob is the stream switch. :go...

McMaster sells clear PVC of all shapes and sizes. It's significantly more expensive (a 4' section of 3" PVC is around $65). However, it may have some use. You could get a segment with a small diameter and connect it to a PC/Reservoir, and make a gauge. Here is my idea: http://i81.photobucket.com/al...

Personally I use "soaker" and "water gun" almost interchangeably. I voted "water gun" nonetheless.

As long as you don't call them squirt guns, I'm happy.

:oo: A spring airsoft pistol only shoots around 250 fps. At point blank range it stings, and leaves a red mark. It's not going to seriously injure the dog. Besides, dogs have fur to cushion the impact. Perhaps a BB gun is a little much, but an airsoft gun would be fine.

I think you should use something else. Super Soakers are not meant to be used with ammonia. The gun won't last long. I recommend getting an airsoft pistol or a BB pistol. They're lighter, and there is no chance of spilling ammonia on yourself. Plus, you don't have to pump them up.

I personally think that for one: we've tried it. It's not gonna work. And two: didn't we have some rather large topic discussing how this won't work and that we shouldn't bother? ???

Yes, the old guns were better. We want them back. But this won't work.

I apologize for my negativity. :(

I kinda like the design of the Arctic Blast. It's...edgy, for lack of better term. However, the FF is definitely more comfortable to hold (the grip is more ergonomic).

Well, the FF only advertised 35 feet, and it surpassed that. Besides, it will also have the aquapack for another 100 oz.

I think I have a new speculation for the handle: it looks like a piston pump. It says something about "dual modes" and "multi-blastin' bursts," so I'd say that's a fair guess.

I got some Peanut Butter Crunch today, and it had the special promotions panel showing the Hydroblitz. It seems that it has two nozzles, one above and one below, like the Flash Flood. If you look at iSoaker's outlined pic, it's the orange blob labeled "4".

It really doesn't make sense for that lever to be a pump. It would cause the gun to shake too much, the gun would be forced upwards while pumping.

The release is getting closer... :oo:

Seems Hasbro.com has added to their listings.

So far, they've added the Secret Strike, and revealed a new color scheme for the Liquidator.

I'm guessing that it's not a Riot Blast trigger, but an all-purpose trigger. There does not seem to be a trigger on the grip. Though there is a slightly orange blob there, it seems to be the background. I think the reveal will happen within a week or so. By last year's trend, I'm probably way off. ...

I just noticed something about the Covert Control/secret Strike: The hidden nozzle is right below the normal one, angling downwards. You can see it on the box pic. The kid is pointing the gun upwards, but it's shooting downwards. As for the hydroblitz, it seems to me that the entire back end is the...

Has your obsession with soakers reached the point of dreaming about them? Mine has. :oo: I have had about four dreams about soakers. Most of which involve finding the motherload of all soaker armouries/deals all to myself. I've had one where I found a MX, MXL and a whole bunch of other guns at some...
