We checked it out, the ant nest was some distance away and our not being able to see the ground was rather disturbing. I was attacked by about 3, must have been on the outskirts of the colony.
Some MBT blueprints may be in order, so you could wait and see.

I would really like to fight in a forest or wilderness setting one day, sounds really fun too from all the battle reports. The only possible problem would be ants. Me and them have an enmity between us, I got bitten by giant ants with 7mm long jaws recently, they try to steal my food on hikes when ...

Finally done with this one. I'm still thinking of designs and all, although I'm hardly our group's techie. I can't log on to waterwarfare forums for some reason. It says that wrong log in details. When I try password recovery, it says no such member name (hamster). But when I check the memberlist, ...

We have some "teams", but before I go into that, I'd better briefly explain the situation. The mass of people happens to be a Uniformed Youth Organisation (UYO). The company consists of 4 wings, each about 25+ strong, each is led by a wing commander. There is already a rank system in place, I mysel...

Perhaps one way to keep the intellectual water fight tradition alive is to have it attached to a larger organization (especially school-based). What we do over here is have water fight as a facet of our company (read more in water warfare forums). This way, it survives well and long, having been go...

Good idea for the detonation charge, but how about a EMP disruptor. Here's the rules for it: The EMP charge which is a sponge, has to be thrown onto the vital system from outside the forcefield radius. The EMP charge disables the shield, allowing troops to enter the radius where the forcefield once...

A few of my friends and I thought of this waterwar idea relating to sci-fi boarding actions in space, what do you think?: Time: At least 2hrs (we used 4 hrs) Players: At least 10per team (suggesting 50 per team, the more the better) Venue: Larger the better (we used an entire school plus extension ...

Ah, i hoped someone would ask about this, for those not able to acquire a minivan or motorized vehicle, how about a kind of APC, flintstone style. We're building one over here in Singapore for urban combat, complete with refilling, primary and secondary weapon systems, communications, first aid and...

No idea, maybe because there're too many overprotective parents who lodge complaints if their kids' cry after getting soaked by big guns (by another little kid) and they're more inclined to blame the equipment rather than the other kid's bad marksmanship. If you go up to your average friend here, h...

Thanks for the input! I'll develop a prototype first, and run some field tests. Hmm, mobility, perhaps less bulky outer armour to increase that. As for the protection against water streams, although its fully enclosed, most guns with the strength and volume of a CPS 1200 stream should get through t...

Hi, I'm designing and making some "power armour" for my team/army, basically, it's a completely enclosed corrugated plastic/PVC/solid plastic suit of armour with those slightly elastic washing machine tubes for mobility in the joints. I plan to build a torchlight, binoculars and walkie talkie into ...
