By the way, I am withdrawing from this opinion based argument. Nothing positive has, will, or can come out of it. The way this is going, it will only lead to personal attacks.

"They're not stupid! The people he plays with have more skill and battle experience than both you and me combined" If they just stand there and let others shoot them, I'd most definately say otherwise. "If the person with the heavy soaker is smart he/she will not allow the person with the light one...

"Yet they often do just stand there!" Wow. The people you play with must be fairly stupid. "When skill is equal, the more powerful gun would win most of the time. That has come out in many of my wars." on the basis that light and heavy soakers are equal with different weaknesses and strengths, in y...

"And so upping the caliber of your arsenal can present you with an edge" WTF? That's not what I meant at all. I'm saying that a vet with a decent light soaker has the same chance of winning as a vet with a heavy soaker if the two were to duel. (if you don't like my theorie, try and prove me wrong) ...

I dissagree with what's being said about less need for tactics in close range battles. It often takes more than raw speed and agility to get in close.

I guess it all comes down to the catagories of skill and preference. Having the skill to use a 'weapon' properly, and the preference of type/size of 'weapon'. The problem is, that often times those who have little skill, choose to use heavier 'weapons' for the handicap of their soaking ability. Als...

This is something I've been meaning to bring up for quite some time. Everyone is in this rush for power, because they don't have the skill to win any other way. After the firepower reaches a certain level, the fun leaves (along with whatever trace of skill there was left), and it all becomes a game...

I'm hoping for more precharging goodness from Buzz Bee Toys. As for hasbro, I won't be buying anything max-d, and max-d will probably take up their whole line up.

It's hard to dodge anything in a tree, and people rarely have much water with them if they're going to be climbing trees. So, make them waste their water, and than do some "target pratctice".

I don't really like the grip either, but that's nothing a hacksaw, some pvc and epoxy wouldn't fix. And Shadowstrike, once I get more sandpaper, I'm painting mine flat black and then putting an autobot symbol (or two) on mine.

I like using my personal, two wheeled, pedal powered transport unit. It's also called a bicycle, and they carry them in many different styles at more stores than I feel like typing the names of right now. Plus, there's no minimum age for the things. Triforce, I dislike you greatly. Please use the e...

Having cover and escape routes is far better than havin a buddy to your back, because escape routes don't run out of water, and cover such as trees don't dodge and let you take all the hits. And for the last time, cut it out with the smileys!

Just becaus some of us have large armoury's doesn't mean we all are gonna start giving them away (I am not considering myself a veteran in any way, shape, or form, I'm just stating my opinion on the matter of donation). We all (well, most people here) have worked hard for the soakers we have. If yo...

If you're the leader of your team, and this is the best tactic you came up with, I'd hate to think of the stupidity levels of the rest of the team. High ground, superior numbers, more mobile units, and a heavier armed unit yet you still managed to lose. And sending off a lightly armed guy to take o...

I got one on Monday. Fires beautifully, smooth pump, smooth trigger, decent range, and I like the way the stream spreads. Quite a few shots per tank, ok shot time, and very few pumps to charge. The only two things I don't like are the handle and the colour, both of which can be fixed.
