Re: Flash flood variants
I know , it may seem a bit tedious but just even a one liner would do the job. There are already a few one off soakers on the website, such as the glass encased ss 50, its just nice to have on the website I guess The silver/chrome version of the Flash Flood is noted on iSoaker.com, but under "Known...

Re: Flash flood variants
Sharper Image was sort of like Brookstone, but I always felt they were more geeky in a way, carrying more gadgets and toys.marauder wrote:What kind of stuff did the sharper image sell? Interesting.
Interestingly, they still appear to be online, but I haven't seen a store in years.

Re: Flash flood variants
I knew there was at least 4 , but I didn't know until yesterday that there was a chrome version. The Chrome version was sold by the now bankrupt store "The Sharper Image". I recall seeing them being sold for some ridiculous price for a Flash Flood and never ended up buying one. As for versions list...

Re: Best Running Distance to Train for Water Wars?
For endurance, after reading the oncoming storm's thoughts, I'd have to agree that longer (5-6miles) is probably better for training. Not sure I'd make the 1 mile mark, but that's me and I know I need more exercise.

Re: Keyring/mini blaster
I'm interested in the cps 2000 mini blaster, cps 2500 and the xp 250 I have a bunch of Super Soaker XP Mini Blasters . Unfortunately, they are in deep storage so I can't give you any additional statistics on them other than what's already posted on iSoaker.com. From my recollection, they only pushe...

Re: Best Running Distance to Train for Water Wars?
Isn't the best distance to run just over 50' farther than how far your expected opponents can run? :goofy: More seriously, I think two distances are needed: a short sprint distance and a longer endurance haul, both while carrying one's full water warfare load-out. For sprinting, my guess is that 100...

Re: Keyring/mini blaster
There are many types of mini blasters/keyring-blasters. All perform ok for their size, but no real surprises in terms of performance. Is there a particular model you're interested in knowing more about?

Re: Flash flood variants
The original, green Flash Flood was released before the Max-Infusion series and of not compatible with the Max-Infusion backpacks. The later ones are, but am unclear whether every subsequent re-release still included the Max-Infusion-capable cap. Max-Infusion-capable caps are larger and thread in th...

Re: CPS 2000 Mk1 - how much does it sell for?
Looks like it's in great shape, but have you tested it recently to see whether it still works? As these blasters are roughly 18 years old now, the likelihood of CPS chamber failure is definitely increased. Of course, you could always try selling it as is without testing if you have any concerns abou...

Re: Fuze Cyclone bike mounted water blaster
I've never considered mixing bicycles and water blasters as a good idea despite how much I think it'd be cool to shoot streams while cycling. I suppose shooting not-directly-forward would be ok for strafing runs, but I always fear about slippery surfaces or, worse, the cyclist losing control and ram...

Re: 365 Days of Soaking: A Visual Project
We've now passed the 50% way for 2014 and my 365 Days of Soaking project is now just over 50% complete (at least in terms of days gone by). Put in another way, we are now closer to 2015 than to 2013... time flies. I need to have more water wars before the summer is through; heck, I need to have *A* ...

Re: CPS 2000 Custom Paint Pictures
These pictures of the repainted CPS 2000 are awesome! Really nicely done... @the oncoming storm: who cares about resale value? If you love your water blaster, thinking about how much you'd get for reselling it never even crosses one's mind. Back to topic: it'd be sweet were stock water blasters able...
