Re: HydroBrawl Water Warfare 2009 Season Opener
How many houses apart are the two flags? If they're separated by others, are you allowed to go through those yards, or do you have to skirt them and stay on the streets? Your homemade CPS water gun sounds pretty efficient. It must look pretty unique with a bag over the bladder, of course. :oo: Prett...

Ah, so I see. Sorry about that, teamfear.
Did the shotgun mod on the CPS 2100 improve its range?

Updates for HydroWar...that's way cool.
Hate to be Captain Obvious, but have you tried a plain old picture, in the dark, with no flash?

Re: Soakers Built off Metric System?
This may be one of those things that's obvious in hindsight. How did you think of it? Intuition? By accident? Anyway, you may want to qualify that you're looking at the numbers printed on the boxes, not whatever number someone measured in his or her garage. Designing a reservoir to hold a certain vo...

Re: Xp 300 picture
So the XXP 275 should have really good range too then? Interesting. I may buy the one on ebay then.
I suppose so. iSoaker's review says he got 10 meters when firing both nozzles at 1x, at an angle. And iSoaker's ranges seem to be lower than those in other reviews, so that's pretty ...

Re: Xp 300 picture
m4, the lever trigger may not be too convenient if want to pump on the fly, but a large ball valve is the very reason the SS 300 gets those ranges.
teamfear, I'd never seen a picture of the XP 300, so it was useful to me. And maybe iSoaker will update the article.

Rescheduling may be a good idea if there aren't too many other people attending.

50 feet, if it's anything like the SS 300.
Looking at SSC's page on the XP 300, it looks like Drenchenator, at least, knew about the Aqua-Nexus picture.

That's an odd-looking grip...fairly thin near the top.

Sounds good. You could probably do some neat mods, keeping the pulse fire nozzle and body while using a PVC pressure tank.

Why can't he ship it to your city – would he ship it anywhere? Where do you live, regionally speaking?

I'm using these pictures instead because there's less glare and the internals have slightly different colors.
The orange piece in that section is probably what should have been cut out. (You may want to get a second opinion on this.)

A picture might help, if you can get one.
Have you considered using the pump from a totaled water gun? What about building your own?

Re: Pressure Resistant Glue
So it's not just a leak...the thing is actually snapping apart?
Do what we do for things like trigger repair and reinforcement – glue a strip of metal on both sides of the crack.

Re: MAX-D Secret Strike
Any leaks? What happens to the level of the water in the reservoir? Does the force on the pump increase for even a couple of strokes (it should usually increase until you're finished pumping)?
See the article "Water gun not fully charging when pumping for a good starting point.

Re: Need QFD's plz help
Uncommon, maybe. They haven't been sold for 10 years. But you can obviously still find one if you really want to.
Bringing together existing quick-fill water guns sounds like a great way to make use of the QFDs that are still left out there. Great idea!
