Re: my second homemade
If I where you, I would make a backpack out of a 2.5 gallon solar shower, or if that is too heavy, then make one out of 2x three liter bottles.

If you measure from the end of the straw, the range is terrible.

Re: REM War 27 October 2011 [Water War in a Dream]
Last night, (2/12/13)I had a dream that M4 sent me a red Gorgon with yellow PCs and reservoir, and also two lighnings that had light-blue PC and reservoir, and the body had the color of a CPS 2000 body. And also the handle and trigger was mounted in-between the reservoir and PC, and the handle was s...

Re: Will longer barrels help?
All this talk confuses me. I just want a soaker that shoots far :goofy:. But I like that Ben is thinking about doing more on SScentral, instead of making simple homemades, there should be articles on advanced homemades that are easier to use in battle than a standard APH. (But I must say a CPH is a ...

Yes, it did, here's the link:
http://www.waynesthisandthat.com/cp2000.htm
He has TWO CPS 2000 MK1s. Lucky him. And he got the same power as the other one after he replaced the tube with LRT.

Re: REPAIR BURST CPS 2000 MK1 bladder
Man, that sucks. That is one nasty bladder burst.
Thanks M4 for the info. I was wondering about the 2500 and 2000 mk2 bladder, whether they are the same thing.

Hey, dibs on the other 275 if you want to sell it. But I can't get it for $80. Maybe $30-$40 is what I can afford.

Re: SS 300 keychain?
Why is their price so high?
I want a 275, but at $75, I don't think so, especially when I can get a better one for $20 (Namely a gorgon. That duel fest was really helpful!)

Yes, very hard to find! There are those sweeper nozzles, but they require an adapter to attach them to homemades.

Re: Will longer barrels help?
On some blasters, yes. The HydroCannon is an example. If you stick a piece (approx. 6 inches long) of 1/2 inch CPVC inside the front of the HydroCannon (Take out the screen first), it increases range 10+ feet. I think the HC might be more powerful than the 2500, because on 19x (What isoaker rated th...

Re: My new CPS system (Almost Done!!!)
Ok, what I did was use killer7's method (I think that's his name), so you might have a different second layer. I can bring mine, because I don't have a first layer, but I so have a second layer.

Re: My new CPS system (Almost Done!!!)
It doesn't have to be amber. I just need two layers, I can't remember the diameters though. I use a 1ft pressure chamber. Do you have a frame backpack I can borrow at the war? I just would like to borrow it, I can get an ALICE anytime, but I want to save for the war.

Re: WWN League Spring Opener
I put in dates, but they are tentative. I'm not sure if I can make it or not, unfortunately I do not know of events taking place this far in advance. I MIGHT be able to make it on the 23rd, but it's not likely. My dad said several things are going on that weekend, and I can't make it on the second o...

Re: My new CPS system (Almost Done!!!)
Okay, so I recently fixed the leak in the solar shower. Unfortunately that doesn't do much because I don't have a frame to mount it on, nor do I have any LRT in the right sizes to power my CPH. Maybe if I have enough money after saving for going to NC I can get the LRT and frame, and maybe I can tak...

Re: If you only had One
What I like the most is flexibility. There are times I like to have a light soaker, and there are times I wish I had a CPS 3000 because of all the water. I like the six nozzle selections because you have a lot of flexibilty, and on 1x with a 35 oz PC you can shoot non-stop for 35 seconds! I also lik...
