Perhaps the dropoff is significant. Haven't really thought about that before. This is the way I've interpreted it: with cylindrical tubing, the surface area of the rubber increases as the pressure applied decreases in such a way that the force is constant. Might be wrong though, as it claims to be ...

Nice tips. I want a Max-D 6000 badly, but I know I can't get anything on eBay. Plus, BBT has completely bought me over.

The prices vary between seasons. Prices are now nearing their peak - if you sell within the next few 2-3 months, you could get over $100.

Good luck!

Super Soaker (SS) is now the division of Hasbro that produces water guns. Water Warriors is the division of Buzz Bee Toys (BBT) that produces water guns. We generally refer to SS and BBT, not Hasbro or Water Warriors. Don't ask me why. But anyway, BBT's recent guns have been way better than SS and ...

This gun definitely sounds interesting. If the grip fits my hand, which I think it will, I might get the blaster - I'm keen on getting something today or tomorrow, since I just got back from the band trip and it's spring break.

Hmm...maybe the trigger could be cut or sanded down...

Nice teaser! If you can't help reviewing this first, then it's gotta be good. Right?

The gun sounds impressive. I wouldn't expect a laminated stream when it's so big anyway though, as the ratio of volume to surface area is reduced.

Wow, that's really strange :oo: . I take it you've tried to shoot... At worst, you can try contacting Buzz Bee Toys and see what they think. They might send you a replacement blaster like Hasbro, or they might tell you how to fix it. I doubt they'll give repair instructions though, because of liabi...

Wouldn't water in the PC reduce the amount of pre-charging needed? Anyway, I'd try shooting after pumping maybe 30 times, if only to see if the pre-charging stopped but the button hasn't changed.

Yeah, it'll probably take many more pumps than expected due to the large PC. But I'm not one to talk, as my Argon got pretty messed up sometime too. The pressure gauge shows the total pressure, not just the pressure after pre-charging, and pumping is very hard.

Nice, thanks! I'm also surprised the pump stroke is so short - it looks fairly long. Maybe they should've just removed the angle between the pump tube and the grip's hand guard and lengthened the pump tube.

It's interesting, though, that the seller said it doesn't leak from the nozzle. Maybe there's water trapped behind the nozzle selectors or something--just a thought.

Winning bid: $207.50 (US)

Interesting...

As usual, Buzz Bee Toys is the only water gun company that innovates. I am very impressed by the idea of the Steady Stream. If I understand the concept correctly, this is a pump action water gun that keeps the stream constant while pumping. I am assuming the spring stores some of the energy and the...

Thanks! I went to TRU today, mainly as a walk, didn't see much. The only new guns were the Secret Strike and the Arctic Blast. I'm really excited about the Tiger Shark, and I'm looking for it. The Orca looks okay, especially with a pump handle that is easy to hold, but the reservoir cap looks a bit...

Well, since you're looking for an average, it's only fair to represent the lower end of the spectrum...

I don't have a team, but my neighborhood has small wars maybe every three weeks in the summer. On average. I can probably get it down to once a week this time.

Woah, thanks for the info. If the AquaShock level is just an X-rating, either on the same scale or a different one, then that would make sense.

So, the Arctic Blast is CPS...not bad at all.

Perhaps you could sandpaper down the PC connection...just a though, don't count on it being strong enough.

Maybe you could cut the piece off and use epoxy with PVC or something...

Nice article! It should inspire people to combine tactics in interesting ways.

It's definitely a concept I've got a half hold of, but I might never use the rest. I love creative tactics, but I generally use tactics in a logical, solid way--using one to directly follow through on or counter another.

Wow. Thanks for the pictures! I also was not aware how much camera phone picture quality had improved recently. The Tiger Shark looks like an awesome gun. 3 nozzles (which is plenty), a round pump grip since the gun is too short to have a tracked pump or because of the design, a cap on the top, a s...
