Re: Latest Modification
I need to see a Gorgon myself to determine whether the intake tube is worth removing. I removed the one on my Colossus due to the enormous unused reservoir space and sloshing around, whereas I put one into the 2700 because of the same issue. Reservoir sloshing gets a lot of air into your final shot...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
I have seen maybe 8 SS 100's on my adventures in decent condition, maybe more that weren't so good. They are much more common than the other SS blasters so I never buy them.
How much are they worth? If it's over 40$ it might be worth my time, otherwise it's just a hassle trying to sell it on Ebay.

The Value Village Quest
So, I have ventured here and far across the lands, searching far and wide for super soakers. On these thriftpeditions I try to pillage as many villages as possible. Let these pages serve to record my conquests in fields afar. Lo, and behold! http://i.minus.com/jelsfnxBBy9dH.jpg You see the mark in t...

Re: Biocides, anticorrosives, and dishwasher soap
Would that mean you have to add those three things to your reservoir before you start shooting? Properly drying out your gun's internals by draining the water and pumping air is pretty important. Most of the rust and mold I see is on the OUTSIDE of the tubes, not the inside. Because hey, people dunk...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
I've been on quite the thrifting quest lately. I have hit not one, but TWO new value villages for the first time! Tremble in fear... But before that.... http://i.minus.com/jNE0r1XbsREsi.jpg That's right boys, I picked up a CPS 1200 at my local VV in near-perfect condition for only 5 bucks. http://i....

Re: Opening a CPS 1000
Hi there. I am amazed that you could remove the nozzle cap without any trouble and then got stumped on the pump cap. Some of the CPS 1000 pump caps are threaded (a few of mine are, anyways) but most should just snap on and off over a small ridge in the plastic. Unfortunately, some guns have an obsce...

Re: What is the community's opinion of the WW Vanquisher?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that a mod has been attempted before. It uses some gargantuan bladder inside of the reservoir though and adding balloons would decrease the reservoir capacity. Also, the valve ID would restrict the amount of power you could get out of it.

Re: We want to 3D print custom parts for Water Warriors
CAD is an excellent tool for designing parts. But I would look into milling a block of metal/plastic before I would consider 3D printing.
Would be useful to make triggers, handles, and maybe custom nozzles. It would take a lot of time and effort to make and assemble the firing chambers and valves...

Re: Want to buy CPS 4100 and 2100 Triggers
Yeah, it's not like the triggers are a seperate piece. The only ones you will find will have be or have been attached to their original guns. If you have both pieces of the trigger, I have had success with repairing and reinforcing the plastic. I have done it to at least two CPS guns and you can har...

Re: Advice on price
I would recommend that you try and talk to the guy selling the Monster XL, try and get the price down to 60 or 80$ . I've seen a Monster XL on my craigslist before and I regret not buying it. Buying one on ebay is nuts, because the shipping cost of selling some 4 foot long heavy box is high. You are...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
What a day. I finally went on a massive thriftpedition. I hit up a total of 5 Value Villages, including two I have never been to before. I started by driving up to the hidden value village. They had packed shelves but were sorely lacking super soakers. They had a broken flash flood for 5 bucks, but ...

Yeah, maybe. There is a "clean side" and a "screw side", the clean side I assume is more valuable as a display model.

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
I've been cruising locally, still no bites. Sad to say, haven't bought any water guns in a while. I have seen the new WW Waterlord at walmart for 25$, hope they go on clearance. There's a pair of Aquapack Devastators for 50$ not too far away to drive. I have no clue on the condition, I suppose they ...

Nice. I found some of these at my local walmart for 25$. Tempting, but I am spending my money on a new storage solution for my collection instead.
