Re: Opening a CPS 3200
Oh that's really cool. I thought the 3200 had a proprietary connector, like the 3000 does. But the 3200 has a 1/4 turn connector? I really want to see it now...

Re: Annual Vancouver Waterfight
OK guys. My car is ready to be loaded up. Let's do this! The VAW 2015 is this Saturday!
I'm going to see if Ritz wants to come to the waterfight with me, along with my nephew.
Time to start unpacking my collection...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
OK well I've picked up a few small things recently. First, I talked down a nice fellow on ebay who sold me this for 50 bucks: http://i.minus.com/jGzPspuL9uqKa.jpg No strap, no stickers, no problem. Shoots water like a miniature cannon. Perfect. After snagging that little beast, I spotted these two b...

Re: Opening a CPS 3200
Wait what? That sounds really interesting. I thought the 3200 has a 1/4 turn locking attachment that was unique sort of like the 3000.

Re: WTB SS100
Your best bet is Ebay unless you live in Canada. Also, there are slight variations in the blue/yellow version, but it doesn't look much visibly different and it probably wouldn't matter much to you. I recommend that you cruise ebay for a few weeks, feel out the prices, and then buy a good cheap one ...

Re: CPS 2000 MK1 - shoot only 10 feet
Eh, it probably will float back up into the 200-250$ range. I'm still impressed with myself that I bought mine for under 200$ a few years ago.

Re: CPS 1500 repair help
Your welcome. I knew I was good for something. I have had two CPS guns like this one with this problem. What I did was grind the pin head off, remove the entire pin and gasket assembly, clean and re-lubricate the pin, add a new tiny o ring, drill a hole in the pin to add a Cauter pin, reassemble and...

Wow, that CPS went for 355$ and it isn't even in good working condition? Holy smokes.
I've still got my MK1 sitting in my basement. I wonder how much I could get for it?

Re: Opening a CPS 3200
I've tried my hand at making an adaptor, my current design is a friction fit which works well enough. There's no pressure to cause the hose to shoot out, just some suction from the pump. It needs to make a good seal.

Have patience, and check ebay often. You should be able to get a decent price between September and November.

Re: noob first time gun
I would have used a brass adaptor and another check valve so you could just connect the gun to a garden hose and fill it up rather than the funnel thingy. I can buy them from several places for 3-5 dollars and you can thread them into PEX or PVC pipe, which seems to withstand the water pressure well...

Nice job Marauder!
It's great to see such useful information... I was able to pick up a CPS 2500 locally for only 50 bucks once I talked the guy down.

Re: CPS 2000 MK1 - shoot only 10 feet
The problem I had with another gun doing this was fixed when I moved the hole in the trigger where the wire goes back about half an inch. This made it much easier to open the pull valve and fire off a complete shot.

Re: CPS 1500 repair help
I'm glad you mentioned that Redd. There is a model of CPS 1500 with two screws holding the nozzle cover on. Take a close look at the two horizontal tabs surrounding the nozzle opening; if they look suspicious you should be able to pull them off to reveal two small screws. I have pictures on my Minus...

Yeah, I hear you. Checking 1-4 times a month for sold listings takes quite a bit of time. It would be pretty cool to write a program that would do the searching for you... hmm

Re: CPS 2500 pump
First off, welcome to WWN. You seem to have quite the number of issues with your CPS 2500. It would have been a good idea to consolidate your questions into a single thread rather than addressing each minor issue in separate threads. The pics are a great help though. The rubber gasket on your pump h...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
$100 at peak lol. DX, I was looking at the prices on your site but it doesn't look like it's working anymore. I'm looking at a really beat up CPS 2500 on craigslist for 100$. I'd like to tell the guy he's nuts, but it would have been nice to have some recent statistics. And if I see any more of tho...

I agree with the oncoming storm. I mean, if anything the 25$ price tag gives it credibility as a knock-off.

Re: Water Warriors Waterlord!
The things are cool, basically a Water Warriors Lightning with a larger reservoir. It does , however, lack a carrying strap mount.
Having not used one myself, I can't say for sure one way or the other, but I don't think they are good enough to export.

Re: Flash Flood pump cap problem
You can also "De Max-D" the flash flood. It has been covered elsewhere...
I personally gave up on fixing the bottom spring/valve on one of my Flash Flood and removed the trigger. Now it only shoots out of the Flood nozzle.
