Re: Quotables

My current signature made me laugh really hard for some reason.

My previous signature:

Re: Off season 2013-14

I bought a few new guns, including a CPS 2500 and two Speedloader 3000s. Attempting to find parts to fix my Vanquisher.

Also, to improve my combat experience out here, I've decided to get into airsoft.

Re: Water Warriors 2014 lineup

I believe I saw Sharks at some stores a few years ago in two-packs for $10. I don't think an individual Shark or Gremlin is going to be that much, but it depends on where you look. Amazon tends to be overpriced on water guns from what I've seen. If it is that expensive, you should probably go with t...

So then, BBT has updated their site. I think this confirms that this is the only significant new blaster for 2014.

Link to the page.

Interesting. Judging by the looks and price, it seems to be a large-ish PR gun. The description says it has two different nozzle settings. It may be comparable to the Python 2.

Re: Should have Posted this Here- Need Help on a Fun Project

So are you saying that the gun will be connected to the fire hydrant? If so, it seems all you want is a really fancy hose nozzle. The challenging part may be building a trigger system and a rotating turret part, which I don't think most of us really know much about. But it shouldn't be too hard to d...

Re: Blast From the Past

When I was little, I didn't really have internet, so I had to just find something. The only thing I found at the store was a Max-D 2000, and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. :goofy: My dad used to go to thrift stores all the time, so I ended up also finding a Max-D 3000 and an XP 220. A...

Re: Good Short/Medium-Range Gun?

Last year, the 2013 line was already out. It should be announced any time now.

According to iSoaker.com, the Gargoyle is a pretty good blaster. It would probably be fine for your purposes.

Re: Buying Year-Round (Retail)?

I don't think there's such a thing. If you need guns now, you need to either buy online, or wait a few weeks for the 2014 line to be released. The price of water guns doesn't change during the year, except around August/September when they go on clearance and become dirt cheap.

Re: Good Short/Medium-Range Gun?

Most places that sell water guns will have Water Warriors. I've seen them at Target, Wal-Mart, K-mart, Toys R Us, and most other major department stores. Whether or not they'll have the Gremlin/Shark, we don't know. Most of the 2014 lineup hasn't even been released in stores yet. If you do find it t...

Re: Good Short/Medium-Range Gun?

OK, I'm now seeing the Gremlin listed on Wal-Mart's site for $10, while the Shark and Steady Stream 2 are both on the Toys-R-Us website for $5.98 and $7.98 respectively. What's with the branding of the latter two as "Sizzlin' Cool" instead of "Water Warriors," though? I see it with stickers for bot...

Re: Good Short/Medium-Range Gun?

I would consider the Python 2 to be the AK-47 of water guns personally. There are some older, unavailable water guns that would fit that description better, but in current times the Python 2 is cheap and good. The Outlaw is good too, but it's less comfortable and only has one nozzle setting.

Re: Good Short/Medium-Range Gun?

It is too early to know what Water Warriors blasters will be sold in stores in 2014. Most stores aren't even selling them yet. But supposedly, most of the blasters released in 2013 will also be sold in 2014. Click for a list of 2013 Water Warriors blasters. Last year, the Colossus 2 and Drench n Bla...

I don't think bikes would be very practical, other than for transportation when you don't expect to be ambushed.

Re: Good Short/Medium-Range Gun?

For syringe-type guns, your choices are basically the Stream Machines, Water Blaster XLR, or Tidal Tube, which are fine if you have a nearby water source such as a pool. For piston-pumpers (that is, triggerless water guns that shoot with each pump), Water Warriors has made quite a few decent and rea...
