Re: Fire extinguisher blaster?
I've made homemades of similar design and they work pretty well. However, you may have a difficult time keeping it connected to a hose with just a ball valve. I put a check valve on my homemades for hose intake. Adding a schrader valve would allow you to pre-charge it. Also, if you don't make a dip ...

Re: Is it worth buying a CPS 1200 or should i wait for another?
It depends on what you're willing to pay, and whether you think a deal like this will come around again. I will note however that the 1200 is a very nice and perfectly good gun. It should be more than enough for any water war.

I too think WWN is fine. It's probably what I would have used in the first place.

Re: Educating the newer water warriors
I would basically just say to stay away from NSS and get WW. If they are interested in more information, I would recommend particular models.

Re: What attribute is MOST important to you? (2014)
Normally and understandably, range would be most important. But as I'm mainly a soakfester around here, it's all about how quickly you can soak someone.

That's the sky in California right now.
I don't know. The iSoaker logo wasn't originally part of the picture, right?

I used to use tinypic, but I wouldn't recommend it. All of my older pictures are gone.

Well at least it's separate PC. Apparently it's just a redesigned Renegade.

It's probably a Rebelle tactical rail. If I'm not mistaken, the N-Strike and Rebelle rails are not interchangeable.

Re: Electrical Modifications
MOARC is gasoline-powered I believe. It may be somewhat pointless, but messing with the voltage of electric guns can be a fun little thing to do if you're bored, and could potentially result in a compact but reasonably powerful gun. Not sure why this was brought up here though. Also, what happened t...

The nerf community might be interested in using these for Splash-Dart Only games to make hits more obvious.
Or they could fill these with paint. Paintball meets Nerf

Re: A Battlefield of Our Own
If I had $8,000, I might be willing. But I don't. That would be incredibly cool though. If someone did this, I would definitely recommend hosting airsoft and/or paintball in addition to water warfare. Maybe even nerf wars as well. If the place became popular enough, it might create a demand for good...

While we're on the subject, CPS 1000s and 1500s have appeared in a few episodes of Popular Mechanics for Kids. Also, a baseball card I have has the Colorado Rockies mascot shooting a CPS 2000.

If that's actually how it works, that's really cool. Not sure whether the system is truly practical though. It may be no better than PR.
