Re: Favorite Firing Valve Design?
This is a really good question that I'm not sure I have an answer on. I mean... I am always favor what ever the 2000 uses, but like Sam said, reliability is key. I am also interested in what the Hydrocannon could be capable of.

Re: CPS 2000 vs 2500 questions
The pump is the only place unless you have to open up other parts like the firing valve. Use a good silicon lubricant. When you apply the lubricant make sure you actually place it on the pump skirt/seal. That is the big white section that I repair in this article: https://hydrowar.wordpress.com/2015...

Re: CPS 2000 vs 2500 questions
There definitely is a difference between the 2500 and 2000 nozzles. Take a look at the pictures here: https://hydrowar.wordpress.com/cps-2000/ and https://hydrowar.wordpress.com/cps2500/ It's not just a matter of not being flush or not, but the fact that the 2500 has a second restriction on that flo...

Re: Spyra One
Good comments, marauder. Makes me think that one accessory I would like to see is some way to extend the water capacity. Perhaps a bottle or bag that can be attached to the nozzle. A ziplock bag would work, but seems unlikely to stay closed in all but a casual battle. Might be too late in the desig...

Re: Spyra One
Thought I'd compare the 25 tap shots per tank vs my own tests of some well known soakers - CPS 2000: 19 Spyra One: 25 CPS 1000: 65 XP 150: 88 Gargantua: 104 (burst), 149 (N5), 288 (N1) Pumping isn't really a problem for any of us here, but I realize that we are in the uber minority on that issue. Fo...

Re: Spyra One
You can expect a detailed review on Hydrowar as soon as I get mine. Really looking forward to this. The stock offerings have sucked so much lately that it's nice to have something fresh. Not only fresh, but completely different.

Definitely will be pledging tomorrow.
I like the auto refill option. That is a game changer in and of itself. Can someone post this on our facebook page? Rike, feel free to advertise there. I can't post the link because I am at work, so someone else will have to.

Re: K9 Kannon
Cool idea. I would like to see how this thing works with waterballoons. It is definitely a lot lighter than our typical launchers. The question is whether or not it will be powerful enough.

Re: HOG
Marauder, I have always wanted to go to your wars in NC. I have heard amazing stories and read the threads, but it is too far away. The furthest I have ever traveled for an event is 3.5 hours. I hope to someday meet you and attend one of your events, but for now I can't. I think it is unrealistic t...

Re: HOG
Tony and Danny were very enthusiastic about HOG and were even recruiting people from school to come. One of Danny's friends from track actually got permission to go. It sounds like Scott was very excited too, and knowing our other members I'm sure they wanted to go. I would have held HOG at your ori...

Re: HOG
It's a shame to see this not work out. I think this is a good reminder that sometimes perfect is the opposite of good. I would rather have more frequent fights with lower expectations than to set up big expectations that won't work out. I'm not saying this wasn't a good idea. It's actually a great i...

So, for July 21st at HOG you would have -
SEAL, Chief + friends vs Anthony, Area 51 ... maybe Atvan Scott & David?

Re: Soakemore 2018 planning thread
I am ok with the 28th, but you are missing out on Ben on the 21st. I understand that is the date that SEAL has for HOG, but what if you switched weekends and had HOG on the 28th so we could include Ben on the 21st? What we really need is a list of who can attend each war at what dates. That way we c...

Re: Soakemore 2018 planning thread
Seneca looks kind of like Umstead or Legend Park. Not too bad. Just a friendly reminder, but it looks like the best time for most people is July. Maybe you and SEAL could coordinate dates of the 2 wars.

Re: HOG
Yeah, I am really sorry, but I just can't do a multi day event right now unless it is here in NC. The problem with it being in NY is that is 2 days of driving and being away from the baby. Tiffany is ok with me being gone a day. We actually brainstormed how to get to NY and stay for multiple days to...

Re: Soakemore 2018 planning thread
If we use the portables I want permission from the local police station. I can't take any chances with having a security clearance, plus with all the police shootings over the past few years... Oh yeah, this was supposed to be a happy topic, what am I saying? I think we need to go with the weekend w...

Re: Soakemore 2018 planning thread
Thanks for offering to host. I am in MD right now, but I'll leave on June 22, so June 21 would have to be the latest I could do it. Don't worry about me not being able to make it; I'm really busy anyway right now. Hopefully next year will be better. Did you mean July? And I know that Ben said he do...

Re: Duelfest 2018
We need to get Keith down here for this. The modded Gorgon we used had a 10x nozzle which was very effective for close range shooting around trees, but my 4x mod gives it an increase in range (about 42 feet). I would actually be quite interested to do another war like Soakermore 16. We could finish ...

Re: Duelfest 2018
We haven't used blaster classes in quite some time, but then again we haven't had nearly as many big wars recently either. I for one would like to see battles played with different classes again That is an interesting thought, but in the past battle size hasn't deterred us from playing matches with...
