To the best of my knowledge, some CPS 1000s have glued on nozzle caps that would be extremely hard to pry off. You may want to include that in your guide.

If you want the best possible range, homemades would be a reasonable consideration. It definetly would be a lot easier to obtain and build with materials available everywhere than wait for a water gun to pop up on eBay and hope that you win it. None of the 2005 water guns are known best for their r...

You can not fix leaks without opening the water gun to be to the source of the leak. The CPS 2700 must have a pump cap sawed off carefully as to not accidentally chop off the pump itself. From there, pump the water gun with a dry reservoir and place the internals in a bucket of water to see where t...

I don't know why you would need a strap on such a small gun in the first place. Probably would be more annoying that helpful. If you want to make it into a better backup weapon, I suppose that's what you would have to do to carry it around. Smaller guns don't work out very well with modifications, ...

I have never opened a Flash Flood, and therefore I can not tell you how easy it is to open. However, I do believe I explained the procedure Hunter went through to open his Flash Flood in the TechLog entry I linked to. Please read my Check valve freezing article for information on how to perform the...

I love how a thread like this is magically appears once every few weeks. Do you think some of us haven't noticed a drop in the quality since 1998? 2005 is a step in the right direction.

If you want something good before next year, try eBay or build you own water gun like I have.

The Monster XL check valve appears to look similar to the check valve of the CPS 1000/1200/2100.

There are multiple marks of the Monster XL however, so different marks may have differences. The pictures shown in the check valve freezing articles still should cover most configurations.

On my Vaporizer, I removed the front orange piece and then tied one side onto a screw exposed by that spot and the other onto the reservoir.

Pictures should be at SSCentral in the Piston Conversion modification.

The easiest thing to do in my opinion would be to take a normal water gun and modify it to have a tube to trail in the river. Would only be a matter of removing the reservoir and attaching some tubing. If you're looking for the absolute best (and you'll hear this often from myself), try building yo...

Ah, that's a shame. I'm going to look into nozzle modifications. By the way, have you ever considered doing a K-mod with rubber bands? I got the idea today when I ran short of baloons... I was thinking it may help a little. Rubber bands, like bike tubes on spherical PCs, don't work. Until we actual...

I don't know why this is such a common question... the answer is everywhere! That's why I emphasized this paragraph in the K-modding article: K-modding only works on CPS guns with a spherical bladder. That means no Water Warriors guns, and no CPS 2000s, CPS 2500s, CPS 3000s, CPS 3200s, CPS 4100s, M...

I pumped my flash flood ONLY FIVE TIMES. Sorry to break it to you, but in CPS blasters, only one to three pumps are needed to get up to full power usually. That's the Constant Pressure System for you. While I do bow down to the greatness of the 2500, HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT THE NOZZLE ON THE FF IS AB...

I use a screwdriver to widen my nozzles, but I'm trying to break off the front area of my cps2100 completely. Does anyone have any tips on how to do that? Open your CPS 2100 up. Some CPS 2100s (maybe all) have a threaded nozzle, which essentially means that you can unscrew it and get a big nozzle. ...

When you have the power of a CPS 2000 in a CPS 1000 sized package, I'd recommend your water gun. No one says every time someone suggests a Supe...

The XPS mod is an extremely common modification and an overrated one at best. I wouldn't recommend it.

You can buy the same stuff used on bike handles and use it on your water guns if you want an alternative handle.
